One of the best quotes I’ve ever heard is from Stephen Covey in his book First Things First. He said “where there is no gardener, there is no garden.“ The point being that a garden without someone tending to it is eventually overrun with weeds and is no longer a garden.

This is a perfect analogy in every single area of our lives. If we don’t tend to our health, it gets worse. If we don’t tend to our marriage, it get worse. If we don’t tend to our money, it gets worse.
