My Actifit Report Card: December 16 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was back to very grey and gloomy weather. So, even if we were up and ready earlier than most Saturdays, getting enough motivation for our usual long walk took some time.

For some reason, Le Chat wanted to stay outside. But when I found her hiding under the deck, I kinda felt bad for her.

So when Kaia and I finally went for that walk, we first went behind the front yard, because I knew Le Chat would probably join. And indeed, she quickly arrived.

As stealthy as she was, Kaia saw her immediately and ran full speed back at her.

Pretty sure any other cat seeing a big German Shepherd dog running at them like that would have fled for their lives. But not Le Chat of course. They just proceeded to explore together.

Kaia was like "What'd you find, what'd you find?..."

Of course, both Kaia and I needed a little bit more distance, so we also went to our usual forest.

Definitely not the same vibe without the sun, but still nice trails to walk.

And critters to chase obviously!

Still not exactly sure what they worked on, but the machines are gone again, and we can see signs of city workers labor.

More likely the work of kids, some of the teepees are being renovated. If this one gets finished some day, it will be a nice one.

We walked some more until it got dark and made our way back home, after our traditional stop at our tree friend.

A little work in the house gave me the final steps for the day, not bad step count again. Like I said, it's good to finally have some consistency. Let's keep it up!
