Disappointed with the offer of craft beer in Serbia in 2013, in home conditions, for personal consumption, the production of Salto beer began.
After finding an excellent recipe, which was confirmed by friends to whom the produced beer was given as a gift, production continued in rented Belgian craft breweries, and in 2018, production continued in a new brewery in Belgrade.
Belgrade IPA is a beer
the first recipe that was brewed in the new brewery in Belgrade.
By combining Amarillo, Cascade and Centennial hops, a floral-fruity noise with a harmonious character was obtained, which fits perfectly with a light caramel-biscuit body. Thanks to the long aging period, the alcoholic notes are skillfully softened, so this beer is an excellent choice for long parties with friends.
Alcohol: 6.5%
Bitterness: 45 IBU
Color: 12 EBC
Serve at: 5C
lthough it has a slightly higher percentage of alcohol, the beer is nicely balanced and does not seem too strong. I was happy to drink a bottle after a good lunch.

Cheers! Yes, it's true, I don't know what it's like now but I know they had BIP beer which was terrible even compared to other Yugoslav beers, and a few years ago I drank beer Принцип (Princip) Pale Ale at Belgrade airport and it wasn't good. I am glad that something has started to happen.

Today, most of the industrial beers in Serbia are produced by two breweries, Apatin and Čelarevo.
These small craft breweries (as well as smaller ones that cook according to their own recipes) are a glimmer of hope for beer drinkers.
You just need to find a quality beer that suits your taste...
