Wednesday morning walk

Every working day (when I don't work from home and go to work with organized company transportation) I leave my apartment a little early (probably about 45 minutes earlier) and walk to the starting bus stop.
So also this Wednesday, when I took these pictures while walking, for this #WednesdayWalk

I like to walk, especially when the weather is nice (like this morning) when it's not too hot and it's a clear day, there are no clouds or rain.
I could also take the city bus for that 3.5 km section, but given the crowd on the streets and the timetable of the city transport, sometimes I arrive on foot rather than by transport.

When I leave the apartment, I choose a slightly longer route, I don't immediately go out on the street, which would be the shortest route for me.

It is much nicer to walk between buildings, next to small parks and under tall trees, compared to walking next to crowds on big streets. With a leisurely walk, I enjoy the view of trees and parks, I enjoy the chirping of birds (which you can't hear here).

Then I see cats and pigeons waiting for the tenants to wake up and throw some bread crumbs or granules through the window (and maybe a tenant goes down in front of the building and pours milk into the cats' bowl).

Autumn is approaching... even if I don't see a lot of fallen, yellowed leaves, I can hear them rustle when I step on a leaf that has fallen from a branch.

When autumn comes and the rains start, even when winter comes and the snow comes, I will still walk this route.
And ride the same bus...

And then I will surely send you pictures of the same landscape for some other #WednesdayWalk, only in different colors... Autumn, gray yellow and ocher or winter, white...
