I'm not sure if I would be for abandoning current currency but I am for adding to our options. Cash is still useful for private transactions and as a backup if electricity or the internet goes down. Credit cards are easy to use. Crypto eliminates the middleman and is worldwide. Bitcoin is already kind of a meme, just an idea passed from one person to another, something we agree has value. So there is room for more meme crypto in my opinion, and we'll have more freedom of choice then.

Yes. Cash is good and other forms useful as long as they work and are valued well. Bitcoin is kind of a meme while proving "Alice" and "Bob" success fully exchanged X bitcoin in agreement between their wallets confirmed in an unchangeable way by consensus.
