Cynthia, was about to leave the hospital emergency room. She had bumps on her face and an inflamed cheekbone; she was really scared to come home. It was already the third time in a year that she had been abused by her husband George, whom she loved at one point in her life, but now she was afraid of him.

On the way out the door, Cynthia, saw Madeline, her best friend, accompanied by her small children. As she approached them, she hugged the three of them tightly. When she saw Madeline, she told her, "That's enough; you can't go on like this; it's impossible."Cynthia affirmed with her head, and that was the beginning of her personal and emotional liberation.

Cynthia is a very beautiful young woman; she comes from a very close-knit family, she was an excellent student and also belonged to the cheerleading team of the high school where she studied. There, she fell in love with George, who was a member of the school's football team and the son of a wealthy family.

Cynthia and George, got married very young, before she turned 19. At first, the relationship was wonderful, because Cynthia was really in love and did everything possible to make her marriage work. In George's case, the reality was totally different. He had seen courtship and marriage as a game; as he saw everything in his life, he also knew that if something went wrong, he could go to his parents' house, who had always spoiled him beyond measure.

Cynthia and George's relationship was fine until she got pregnant with Elizabeth, their first child. After that, when George saw that he had to take responsibility and that his parents forced him to do it so that he would mature and be a real father, he began to change and began to behave badly with Cynthia and the baby.

They had very bad situations, and in fact, Cynthia thought about separating, but George's mother always came to intercede and support them. After a reconciliation, Cynthia became pregnant again, now with a boy whom they named Daniel.

From the moment Daniel was born, George no longer spent time in the house, and when he was in the house, he devoted himself to abusing Cynthia and the children.

Cinthia, since childhood, had fallen in love with the Saxophone, That was because her father was a Bruce Springsteen fan, and one day in 2009, he took Cinthia as a child to see her idol at Madison Square Garden, and Cinthia was very impressed when she heard the saxophone solo played by Clarence Clemons, in the song Jungleland.

From that day on, Cynthia would ask her father to play the song for her and ask him to teach her to play the saxophone. Her father, who always spoiled her, supported her, bought her the saxophone and paid for her lessons, and by the time she was 15, she was an excellent performer.

Now, she played for her father when she communicated with him by Skype, since she was working in another country for a contract, and she also played the most loving and tender music to her children, so that they wouldn't hear George's screams.

One day, Geroge arrived drunk at dawn. When the kitchen arrived, he threw some dishes on the floor. Cynthia and the children woke up scared, and the children started crying. George stood in front of the door of the children's room and started yelling at them. Cynthia told him not to yell at them because it was going to make them worse and more nervous, and George, at that moment, began to beat him. That was the first time I had beaten her in front of her children, and now that she was in the hospital, it had been the third time.

Madeline, he had told her that she should stop that relationship. When her mother arrived at the hospital with her brother, they decided to take her home. But at that moment, when Cynthia saw the scared face and the eyes of Elizabeth and Daniel, she said, "That's enough, it won't happen anymore” and asked her mother and Madeline to take her to the police to report George, that being the beginning of the end of their marriage.

Now, in the midst of a divorce, Cynthia, a 25-year-old single mother, without work experience and without having finished her studies and living again in her parents' house, had to start seeing what was going to happen to her life.

Cynthia, she had decided to start looking for a job, and in fact, she was going to start from scratch in a fast food store. But before starting, she talked to her father, who was as a consultant in an oil field in the Middle East, and he told her, Daughter, what are you going to do? Why don't you do what you love the most?

Cynthia, insecure and with tears in her eyes, told her that she did not know what to do and that she did not know how to do anything. At that moment, her father interrupted her and told her, “You are a creator of dreams; you enchant and make everyone fall in love with your music, because in reality, you have a lot to do—make the world fall in love and enchant with your sweetest musical melody.”

From that moment on, Cinthia dedicated herself to looking for places to play. She started at Piano Bars, parties, restaurants and sometimes accompanied music groups that hired her. One day, Cinthia was invited to play at a party. To her surprise, there were many musicians at that party, among them one of her favorite saxophonists, Clarence Clemons, who really enjoyed Cinthia's performances.

In the free spaces of the Clemons party, he talked to Cynthia, and they became friends. He introduced her to other musicians, and among them was a Rock band that was starting to grow and become known. The musicians invited Cynthia to a rehearsal, and they liked her performance so much, that they allowed her to do saxophone solos in four pieces.

From that moment on, Cynthia was invited to two more rehearsal sessions, so she was very happy, and when they called her again, she was very happy, but it wasn't a rehearsal; it was to record her first album. At that moment, the boys of the band asked her to be part of the group, and Cynthia, full of emotion, accepted and did her interpretations and her solos for the album.

A month after the album was released, the group was already on top on the radio and on social networks, so the production company decided to do a concert at full speed, which was going to be held at the Red Rocks amphitheater on the outskirts of the city of Denver.

Cinthia told her parents and her friends that Cinthia's father came from the Middle East without telling her anything, and before going up to the stage, she saw her father and hugged him, after greeting each other, and just before going up her father said, “Cinthia, this will be your most important touch. Regardless of all the achievements you can get later, since this is the end of one road and the beginning of another, today you will play your melody for your freedom.”

Cinthia went up with her group to the stage, and they made a wonderful presentation, and in Cinthia's saxophone solos, the concert spectators felt a huge accumulation of feelings that she transmitted in every tone and every chord. Everyone was delighted and excited, but only Cinthia and her father, knew that at that moment she was transmitting all her strength, her hope and her freedom, through her melody.

Melodía para la libertad.

Cinthia, estaba a punto de salir de la sala de emergencias del hospital, ella, tenía golpes en el rostro y un pómulo inflamado, estaba realmente asustada de volver a casa, ya era la tercera vez en un año que había sido maltratada por su esposo George, a quien amó en un momento de su vida, pero ahora le temía.

Al salir por la puerta, Cinthia, vio a Madeline, su mejor amiga, acompañada de sus hijos pequeños, al acercarse a ellos los abrazó a los tres con fuerza. Al ver a Madeline, ella le dijo, “Ya basta, no puedes seguir así, es imposible”. Cinthia afirmó con la cabeza, y ese fue el inicio de su liberación personal y emocional.

Cinthia es una joven muy hermosa, ella viene de una familia muy unida, era una excelente estudiante y además pertenecía al equipo de porristas de la secundaria donde estudiaba. Hay ella se enamoró de George, quien era miembro del equipo de fútbol de la escuela e hijo de una familia adinerada.

Cinthia y George, se casaron muy jóvenes, antes de que ella cumpliera los 19 años, en un principio la relación fue maravillosa, ya que Cinthia estaba realmente enamorada y hacía hasta lo imposible para que su matrimonio funcionase. En el caso de George, la realidad era totalmente diferente, él había visto el noviazgo y el matrimonio como un juego, como lo veía todo en su vida, además sabía que si algo salía mal, podría ir a la casa de sus padres, quienes siempre lo habían malcriado a más no poder.

La relación de Cinthia y George, estuvo bien hasta que ella se embarazó de Elizabeth, su primera niña, después de eso, cuando George vio que debía tomar responsabilidades y cuando vio que sus padres lo obligaban a ello para que madurara y fuese un verdadero padre, él empezó a cambiar y comenzó a comportarse mal con Cinthia y la bebé.

Ellos tuvieron muy malas situaciones y de hecho Cinthia pensó en separarse, pero siempre la madre de George, venía a interceder y apoyarlos. Después de una reconciliación, Cinthia quedó embarazada de nuevo, ahora de un niño varón al que llamaron Daniel.

A partir del momento en que nació Daniel, ya George no pasaba tiempo en la casa y cuando estaba en la casa, se dedicaba a maltratar a Cinthia y los niños.

Un día Geroge, llegó borracho de madrugada, al llegar la cocina tiró unos platos en el suelo, Cinthia y los niños se despertaron asustados, y los niños comenzaron a llorar, George se paró frente a la puerta del cuarto de los niños y comenzó a gritarles, Cinthia le dijo que no les gritara porque los iba a poner peor y más nerviosos, y George en ese momento comenzó a pegarle. Esa fue la primera vez que la golpeo delante de sus hijos, y ahora que estaba en el hospital, había sido la tercera vez.

Madeline, le había dicho que ella debía parar esa relación, cuando su madre llegó al hospital con su hermano, decidieron llevarla a su casa. Pero en ese momento, cuando Cinthia vio el rostro de miedo y los ojos de Elizabeth y Daniel, dijo “Ya basta, no pasará más” y le pidió a su madre y Madeline que la llevarán a la policía denunciar a George, siendo ese el inicio del final de su matrimonio.

Ahora, en pleno divorcio, Cinthia, una madre soltera de 25 años, sin experiencia laboral y sin haber terminado sus estudios y viviendo de nuevo en la casa de sus padres, debía empezar a ver que iba a ser con su vida.

Cinthia, había decidido empezar a buscar trabajo, y de hecho iba a iniciar desde cero en una tienda de comida de rápida, pero antes de empezar, ella habló con su padre que estaba como asesor en un campo petrolero en el Medio Oriente y este le dijo, ¿hija qué vas a hacer, por qué no haces lo que más amas?

Cinthia, insegura y con lágrimas en los ojos, le dijo que no sabía a qué dedicarse y que no sabía hacer nada, en ese momento su padre la interrumpió y le dijo “Eres una creadora de sueños, embelesas y enamoras a todos con tu música, por en realidad tienes mucho qué hacer, enamora y embelesa al mundo con tu más dulce melodía musical”.

A partir de ese momento, Cinthia se dedicó a buscar lugares donde tocar, ella comenzó en Pianos Bar, fiestas, restaurantes y en ocasiones acompañaba a grupos de música que la contrataban. Un día, Cinthia fue invitada a tocar a una fiesta, para su sorpresa en esa fiesta estaban muchos músicos y entre ellos uno de sus saxofonistas preferidos, Clarence Clemons, quien disfrutó mucho de las interpretaciones de Cinthia.

En los espacios libres de la fiesta Clemons, habló con Cinthia y se hicieron amigos, él le presentó a otros músicos y entre ellos a un grupo de Rock, que estaba empezando a crecer y ser conocido. Los músicos invitaron a Cinthia a un ensayo, y les gustó tanto su interpretación, que le permitieron hacer solos de saxofón en cuatro piezas.

A partir de ese momento, Cinthia fue invitada a otras dos sesiones de ensayo, por lo que ella estaba muy contenta, y cuando la llamaron de nuevo, ella fue muy contenta, pero no era un ensayo, sino que era para grabar su primer disco. En ese momento, los muchachos de la banda le pidieron que fuese parte del grupo, Cinthia llena de emoción aceptó e hizo sus interpretaciones y sus solos para el disco.

Al mes de salir el disco, el grupo ya estaba en la cima en la radio y en las redes sociales, por lo que la productora decidió, hacer un concierto a todo dar, el cual se iba a realizar en el anfiteatro Red Rocks en las afueras de la ciudad de Denver.

Cinthia le avisó a sus padres y sus amigos, el padre de Cinthia se vino del Medio Oriente sin decirle nada, y antes de subir a la tarima ella vio a su padre y lo abrazó, después de saludarse, y justo antes de subir su padre le dijo, “Cinthia, este será tu toque más importante, sin importar todos los logras que puedas obtener después, ya que este es el final de un camino y el inicio de otro, hoy tocarás tu melodía para tu libertad”.

Cinthia subió con su grupo a la tarima e hicieron presentación maravillosa, y en los solos de saxofón de Cinthia, los espectadores del concierto sentían un cúmulo enorme de sentimientos que ella transmitía en cada tono y cada acorde, todos estaban encantados y emocionados, pero solo Cinthia y su padre, sabían que en ese momento ella les estaba transmitiendo toda su fuerza, su esperanza y su libertad, a través de su melodía.
