Family legacy. EN/ESP. Inspired by the Rising Star Game cards. And CONTEST.
On a small farm, on the outskirts of a small village in England, lives Henna, a young woman with a melodic and harmonious soul.
Henna, lived with her parents and her two little brothers, she was a high school student, and besides that she had an active life united to singing, since she belonged to the church choir and was also a singer of a group at school. Henna, she really was a happy teenager, very centered and very happy with a stability, familiar and emotional, very solid.
Music always resonated in every corner of Henna's house, since her mom was a music teacher at school, and she had taught Henna to educate and sing with her beautiful soprano voice, and now she did the same with her little brothers.
Henna's father, although he loved music, had a technical job, since he was a diesel engine specialist.
One day, when leaving to repair the engine of a client's tractor, Henna's father took the road, to get on the highway and go home, but when he reached the highway, a truck hit Henna's dad's car, causing a terrible accident, where Henna's dad was extremely injured.
After the primary care and the first operations, Henna's dad was in stable health and was taken home, but he was left with a severe back injury, which almost did not allow him to walk or stand for long.
But a well-known doctor of the family, referred his case to a specialist in London, who informed that the father of Henna, could walk again and have a normal life after an operation and a period of rehabilitation.
But the costs of the operation were extremely high and Henna's parents did not have the money for the operation, the rehabilitation and the long-term transfer of Henna's father to the capital.
She could not help but see the anguish of her parents, and the different maneuvers they were performing to be able to get the money, they were already talking about selling some valuable things and mortgaging the farm.
Henna, she wanted to help her family and had a high level of concern. When commenting on her situation to a friend, she commented that it was necessary for them to meet, and they decided to do it after the choir rehearsal at the church.
When the rehearsal was over, Laura, Henna's friend, took her aside and told her that there was a possibility that she could help her family financially. Laura told her that there was a national talent contest on TV and she told her that the prizes were very good and in fact Laura reviewed the prizes and told Henna that if she came in third in the contest, she could pay almost 60% of her father's medical expenses.
Laura also told her that she had talked to the Pastor and the choir members, and if she decided to participate, they, along with some parishioners, would cover her expenses for her to participate. Henna, took Laura's hands, told her if she would go to compete and Laura took care of organizing everything for her participation in the event.
Henna, went to the event, accompanied by several of her choir mates and by the parish priest, while her mother and father would watch her perform from the television.
When Henna, on the stage, was very nervous and tears came out, the parish priest and his companions began to shout and encourage her from the audience and one of the jurors of the event supported her, making her calm down and take it easy.
After that moment, everyone smiled and began to lower the pressure of the stage, when the jury asked her what she was going to sing, she inspired and told them, I will sing a solo for soprano, performing the Ave Maria. His first presentation was a success and the performance was so superb that he passed to the second round without problems and so he continued changing his songs in each presentation until he reached the final of the contest, where he had to compete with another person to win the top prize, and if he succeeded, he would solve all the economic problems of his family.
The Henna competitor, a boy from Liverpool, made a phenomenal presentation and felt like a winner.
When Henna was called to the stage, she came up dressed in a simple pink suit and full of enormous humility, besides she was noticeable a certain degree of nervousness.
The Head of the Jury asked her what she was going to sing, and she looked at him, flashed a slight smile and said, I will sing for you a Nessun Dorma.
The interpretation of Henna was so powerful that it shocked everyone present, there were jurors who remained silent when she finished, without saying words. And the audience lasted a few seconds in silence that shocked everyone present too much, before starting an endless round of unstoppable applause and cheers.
Henna, he won the first prize, that made him able to help his family thanks to his singing, his father was operated, the farm was not mortgaged, and the family returned to compose their symphony of love in daily life. Accompanied by the brave hearts, their friends and colleagues, who were always with them supporting them.
For all those who lived this story with Henna, every time I heard a chord of Nessun Dorma, the triumph of love, hope, friendship and the strength of family unity resonated in them.
Thanks for reading.

For one to survive, he or she must succeed. Yes, life is all about industriousness and that's exactly what helped Henna and her family.
A big lesson tho.
