Alicia lives in a cheerful and cultured European city, she is a young woman, graduated in arts and the owner of an important and renowned gallery, inherited from her family. Alicia dedicated herself to painting and has been very recognized for her art. But her other passion is music, and she became an excellent cello player as a child.
Alicia is a very sensitive woman and in love with life; one day, while at home, she saw the images on television of the terrible atrocities that the people of Gaza were suffering because of the indiscriminate attacks, which were ordered by the government of Israel.
She was horrified to see the images and to know the number of children and women killed in the attacks, she was also very shocked to hear the stories that came from the survivors of the Israeli attacks. In addition, he also saw in the media, how some European politicians, the UN and lately even the president of the USA, were calling for a truce and the indiscriminate cessation of violence, before the deaf ears of the Israeli government.
So Alicia decided that she had to find a way to help the survivors of the genocide that was being committed against the Palestinian people through her talent and her influences in the world of art and music.
Alicia, after deciding to take some kind of action, shared her idea with her boyfriend Abraham, who is a musician and composer of Jewish origin, but who was also scandalized by the injustices that were being committed against the Palestinian civilian population by the government of Israel. So, together they decided to work on something, that would somehow help change or improve the situation.
The first activity they did was to create an art and photography exhibition in the gallery, where works by Palestinian artists were exhibited, and to accompany the exhibition, a talented string quartet and two popular singers of Palestinian origin attended, who with their music and songs, managed to convey to the attendees of the exhibition all the emotion and suffering that the people of Gaza lived day after day in the midst of violence and genocide.
If it is true that the event was good, Alicia and Abraham felt that they needed to do something more, something that would impact and open the eyes of society. And it was at that moment that they had the idea of organizing a concert in favour of the people of Gaza and decided to call it "A Voice for Gaza"; and from that moment on, they both dedicated themselves to convening and inviting musicians, rock bands, protest music singers, rap singers and well-known music groups.
Alicia and Abraham, were working like never before on this project, they sent emails, made calls, promoted the idea through social networks and were in a process of organization and permanent production of a proposal, which in principle they planned to realize in a theatre.
But the response of musicians of all genres, to his call, was overwhelming, from big bands and established singers, to bands that were starting in the musical field, they all accepted and felt motivated, to go to perform the concert and give their best in support of the Palestinian people.
With great enthusiasm for this response, Alicia and Abraham decided to commit crimes to get a football stadium, as a space for the concert, and more than 20 bands, groups and singers were going to perform there, as well as 3 dance companies, who asked to be given a space to express their solidarity.
Alicia and Abraham also decided that on the day of the concert, both on the main screens of the stage, and on the giant screens of the stadium, photos and works by Palestinian artists would be projected and images of the heartbreaking devastation of Gaza would be played, accompanied by music and the slogan "Stop the Killing".
The concert was a great success and generated a great impact on the population and the media, who passed on images of the concert at every moment, not only in Europe, but all over the world.
In fact, the initiative of Alicia and Abraham, now known worldwide as ” A Voice for Gaza" and she, was backed by the power of music and art, which made the public pressure stronger worldwide, against the war policy of the Israeli government, demanding that it stop, which apparently looked like a programmed genocide against the people of Gaza and not an attack on the terrorist groups that attacked the civilians of Israel.
From the initiative promoted by Alicia and Abraham, several social, cultural, musical, poetic and communicational movements were initiated, worldwide, which were increasingly pressing for an end to violence, and asking for the search for a dialogued solution that gives a peaceful and dignified way out for both parties.
The message of the youth and of the world society is unique and clear, and is "that only with communication, respect, acceptance and coexistence with the other, will peace be achieved". And that message has been so powerful that it is becoming a point of global awareness, despite the pressure of powerful interests and politicians.
Alicia and Abraham showed that with music, art and love, it is possible to mobilize and raise awareness among the masses, to make world society understand that the solution of problems and the creation of peace lies on the path of understanding, respect, communication and acceptance of others.
Only with music, art and love, can such a broad message of peace be brought to the world, a message that will achieve real and meaningful change. A message that is interpreted and deepened in a permanent way, through the union, hope and motivation generated by music, art and its performers, in order to avoid the destruction of entire countries and regions, by following fanatical ideas and their fratricidal confrontations.

Una voz para Gaza.
En una alegre y culta ciudad europea vive Alicia, ella es una joven, licenciada en artes y dueña de una importante y reconocida galería, heredada de su familia. Alicia se dedicó a la pintura y ha sido muy reconocida en su arte. Pero su otra pasión es la música, y ella desde niña se convirtió en una excelente, interprete del violonchelo.
Alicia es una mujer muy sensible y enamorada de la vida; un día, estando en casa, vio las imágenes en la televisión, de las terribles atrocidades que el pueblo de Gaza estaba sufriendo a causa de los ataques indiscriminados, que son ordenados por el gobierno de Israel.
Ella quedó horrorizada al ver las imágenes y al conocer la cantidad de niños y mujeres muertos en los ataques, además quedó muy impactada al escuchar los relatos que llegaban de los sobrevivientes de los ataques de Israel. Además, también vio en los medios, como algunos políticos europeos, la ONU y últimamente hasta el presidente de los EUA, estaban llamando a una tregua y al cese indiscriminado de la violencia, ante los oídos sordos del gobierno de Israel.
Así que Alicia, decidió que debía conseguir una forma de poder ayudar a los sobrevivientes del genocidio que se estaba cometiendo contra el pueblo palestino a través de su talento y sus influencias en el mundo del arte y de la música.
Alicia, después de decidir tomar algún tipo de acción, compartió su idea con su novio Abraham, quien es un músico y compositor de origen judío, pero que también estaba escandalizado por las injusticias que se estaban cometiendo en contra de la población civil palestina por parte del gobierno de Israel. Así que juntos decidieron trabajar en algo, que ayudara de alguna manera cambiar o mejorar la situación.
La primera actividad que hicieron, fue la de crear una exposición de arte y fotografía en la galería, donde se exhibieron obras de artistas palestinos, y para acompañar la exposición, asistió un talentoso cuarteto de cuerdas y dos cantores populares de origen palestino, que con su música y sus canciones, lograron transmitir a los asistentes a la exposición toda la emotividad y el sufrimiento que vivía día tras día en medio de la violencia y el genocidio, el pueblo de Gaza.
Si es cierto que el evento fue bueno, Alicia y Abraham, sentían que necesitaban hacer algo más, algo que impactara y abriera los ojos a la sociedad. Y fue en ese momento que tuvieron la idea de organizar un concierto en favor del pueblo de Gaza y decidieron llamarlo "Una voz para Gaza"; y a partir de ese momento, ambos se dedicaron a convocar e invitar a músicos, bandas de rock, cantantes de música protesta, cantantes de rap y a grupos conocidos de música.
Alicia y Abraham, trabajaban como nunca en este proyecto, ellos, enviaron correos, hicieron llamadas, promovieron la idea por las redes sociales y estaban en un proceso de organización y producción permanente, de una propuesta, que en principio pensaban realizar en un teatro.
Pero la respuesta de los músicos de todos los géneros, a su llamado, fue abrumadora, desde la de grandes bandas y cantores consolidados, hasta de bandas que estaban iniciando en el ámbito musical, todos ellos aceptaron y se sintieron motivados, para ir a realizar el concierto y dar lo mejor de sí en apoyo al pueblo palestino.
Con gran entusiasmo por esta respuesta, Alicia y Abraham decidieron hacer las delincuencias para conseguir un estadio de fútbol, como espacio para el concierto, y en él se iban a presentar más de 20 bandas, agrupaciones y cantantes, además 3 compañías de danza, que pidieron se les diera un espacio para expresar su solidaridad.
Alicia y Abraham, también decidieron que el día del concierto, tanto en las pantallas principales del escenario, así como en las pantallas gigantes del estadio, se proyectarían fotos y obras de artistas palestinos y se pondrían imágenes de la desgarradora devastación de Gaza, acompañadas por la música y el lema "Paren la Matanza".
El concierto fue todo un éxito y generó un gran impacto en la población y en los medios de comunicación, quienes pasaban a cada momento imágenes del concierto, no solo en Europa, sino en todo el mundo.
De hecho, la iniciativa de Alicia y Abraham, conocida ahora mundialmente como “Una voz para Gaza” y ella, estaba respaldada por el poder de la música y el arte, lo que hizo más fuerte la presión pública a nivel mundial, contra la política bélica del gobierno israelí, exigiéndole que cesara, lo que al parecer parecía un genocidio programado contra el pueblo de Gaza y no un ataque a los grupos terroristas que atacaron a los civiles de Israel.
A partir de la iniciativa que impulsaron Alicia y Abraham, se iniciaron varios movimientos sociales, culturales, musicales, poéticos y comunicacionales, a nivel mundial, que presionaban cada vez más, para que cese la violencia, y pidiendo la búsqueda de una solución dialogada que dé una salida pacifica y digna para ambas partes.
El mensaje de la juventud y de la sociedad mundial es único y claro, y es "que solamente con la comunicación, el respeto, la aceptación y la convivencia con el otro, se logrará conseguir la paz". Y ese mensaje ha sido tan poderoso que se está convirtiendo en un punto de conciencia mundial, a pesar de la presión de los intereses y los políticos poderosos.
Alicia y Abraham, demostraron que con la música, el arte y el amor, se puede lograr movilizar y concienciar a las masas, para lograr que la sociedad del mundo entienda, que la solución de los problemas y la creación de la paz, está en el camino del entendimiento, el respeto, la comunicación y la aceptación de los demás.
Solo con la música, el arte y el amor, se puede llevar un mensaje tan amplio de paz al mundo, un mensaje que logre un cambio real y significativo. Un mensaje que es interpretado y profundizado de manera permanente, a través de la unión, la esperanza y la motivación, que generan la música, el arte y sus intérpretes, parea lograr así evitar la destrucción de países y regiones enteras, por el seguimiento de ideas fanáticas y sus enfrentamientos fratricidas.
