🤡 Welcome to America’s New Justice System: Now With 100% Less Consequences! 🤡
Remember when criminals actually feared going to prison? Cute times. Now, thanks to “reform,” crime pays better than ever. Let’s take a tour of the genius policies:
🔹 California – Gavin Newsom’s Disneyland for criminals. Steal under a certain amount? Congrats, it’s just a misdemeanor. Get caught abusing a child? Don’t worry, you might score probation like Jake Haro—who later went on to be charged with murder. But hey, at least the state saved on prison costs, right?
🔹 New York – Andrew Cuomo’s bail reform: arrest today, brunch tomorrow. Repeat offenders are in and out of jail so fast they should get frequent flyer miles. Even Mayor Eric Adams had to admit the city turned into a “revolving door.”
🔹 Connecticut – The land of second, third, and fourth chances. Commit a violent crime? Don’t worry, we’ll plea it down and see you back in court in 3 years—because almost 40% reoffend. It’s practically a subscription service for criminals.
🔹 Washington, D.C. – They passed “second chance” laws so offenders could turn their lives around. Translation: get out early and see how fast you can land back in court. Critics call it “absurd.” But hey, let’s keep pretending it’s working.
🔹 Progressive Prosecutors – Their strategy? Just don’t prosecute. Murder rates up, prosecution rates down—math checks out, right? Gun buybacks? Didn’t stop a single crime. “Violence interrupters”? Some got killed themselves. You can’t make this stuff up.
So here’s the million-dollar question: 🤷‍♂️
Do we keep doubling down on these “brilliant” ideas that turn crime into a revolving door career path? Or do we remember this is supposed to be the land of law and order, where actions have actual consequences?
Because right now, the only people paying the price are victims and communities—while criminals get participation trophies. 🏆 🏆 🏆
đź’¬ Thoughts? Should we keep coddling criminals, or bring back good old-fashioned accountability?
