š¬ āThe Sopranos: Trump Family Businessā š¬
Fuhgeddaboudit š¤š¤£ Big Tech and the media thought they were gonna whack Trump by banning him after Jan. 6⦠instead, they been paying him like they owe him protection money in Jersey.
Picture Trump sittinā at the Bing, cigars lit, lawyers in track suits, telling the Big Tech guys:
āNice platform ya got there⦠be a shame if somethinā happened to it.ā š¼šø
And what happens? One by one, they show up with envelopes:
YouTube (Alphabet) ā Sept. 29, 2025: Drops off $24.5 million like they just lost at Trumpās casino. $22M goes to the Trust for the National Mall (building a White House State Ballroom ā yeah, you heard me, a State Ballroom). The other $2.5M spread around to co-plaintiffs like hush money.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ā Jan. 2025: Zuckerberg coughs up $25 million. About $22M goes toward Trumpās presidential library ā the rest for ālegal feesā (aka the lawyerās new boat).
X (Twitter) ā Feb. 2025: Elon pulls out the checkbook for about $10 million. Donāt worry Elon, you can pay in Dogecoin next time. šš°
ABC News (Disney / Stephanopoulos) ā Dec. 2024: Tony Trump donāt like lies. Georgie boy says the wrong thing about E. Jean Carroll? Boom. $15M to the library, $1M for the lawyers, plus an āeditorās noteā thatās basically a public apology taped to the bar bathroom mirror.
Paramount / CBS (ā60 Minutesā) ā July 2025: They thought they were slick editing Kamalaās interview⦠now theyāre out $16M and forced to release full transcripts of future interviews. Forget editing ā now they gotta do āno-cut specialsā like itās a mob wiretap. šš
All told: $90 million in āsettlements.ā Or as Tony would call it: tribute. šµš
So while the media cries on TV, Trumpās over here making his presidential library look like Caesarās Palace. šøš²
Moral of the story: you mess with the Don, you pay the Don. End of story. š„
Is this Trump shaking down the media Sopranos-style, or is it justice finally catching up to Big Tech and the news outlets? Drop your thoughts š
