Manhunt Underway for Shooter Who Killed Charlie Kirk
Charlie Kirk, 31, conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah. The attack occurred around 12:20 p.m. MDT as Kirk addressed roughly 3,000 attendees.
The gunman fired from the rooftop of the Losee Student Success Center, about 200 yards from the courtyard where Kirk stood. Kirk was struck in the neck and later pronounced dead at Timpanogos Regional Hospital.
Throughout his career, Kirk’s public presentations often focused on:
Critique of Higher Education: He frequently criticized universities for perceived left-wing indoctrination and a lack of ideological diversity.
Advocacy for Conservative Values: He emphasized free markets, limited government, and traditional family structures.
Opposition to Progressive Policies: He spoke against policies on climate change, gun control, and LGBTQ+ rights, framing them as part of a broader liberal agenda.
Over the years, many voices—writers, activists, journalists, and whistleblowers—have been silenced for challenging power, wealth, or prevailing narratives.
Kirk’s death is a stark reminder of the risks faced by those who speak their truth.
