Are Our Churches and Schools Still Safe? 🤷‍♂️
Have you noticed the attacks on places of worship lately? They’re happening more often than ever. Take the recent tragedy in Grand Blanc, Michigan: a gunman rammed a church, opened fire, and set it ablaze — 4 killed, 8 injured.
Once, schools and churches were sacred, untouchable spaces. Now, it seems our society treats a faithful person with more suspicion than a career criminal.
In just the last 18 months:
Grand Blanc, MI: 4 killed, 8 injured
New Orleans, LA: 2 killed, 3 injured at St. Augustine Church
Raleigh, NC: 1 killed, 2 injured in a Baptist church
Houston, TX: 3 injured in a Catholic church
These are homegrown extremists, targeting people simply for their faith. We’re starting to see terrorist attacks on U.S. soil, like we once only feared overseas.
Ask yourself: Is this the country we want to live in? Where schools and churches aren’t safe?
The reality: every church or place of worship needs armed security just to survive. And those officers deserve respect and proper pay — this is a dangerous, life-risking job.
đź’ˇ The question is: How many more attacks will it take before we wake up? Our American way of life is at risk. Are we okay with this?
Stay alert. Protect your community. Pray for the victims.
