My MemeHive Token Journey: Holding, Burning, and Delegating on MemeHive

Hey MemeHive community
I’ve been deep in the MemeHive trenches for a while now, and I thought it was time to share an update on my wild ride with Meme tokens. I’d love to hear your thoughts on where I’m at—and what I should do next. So, grab a coffee (or a meme-worthy energy drink), and let’s dive in!

My Meme Token Stash
As of today, March 31, 2025, I’m holding a hefty 12 million Meme tokens, all of which are staked to keep them working hard in the ecosystem. That’s right—12 million locked and loaded, representing about 16% of the circulating supply of MemeHive tokens. Not gonna lie, it feels pretty surreal to have that kind of stake in this amazing community. I’m proud to be a big part of the MemeHive movement, but I’m not just here to flex—I’m here to build.

Burning Bright: A Deflationary Move
I’m not one to sit still, so I’ve been keeping busy. On top of actively acquiring more MemeHive tokens whenever I get the chance, I’ve been burning the daily Meme token rewards I earn by promoting engaging posts on the platform.

For the uninitiated, “burning” means I’m permanently yeeting those tokens out of existence—gone forever from circulation. Why? Well, reducing the supply could potentially boost the value of the remaining tokens over time. It’s my little way of giving back to the MemeHive ecosystem and keeping things lean and mean. Think of it as pruning the meme garden to help the best blooms thrive.

Delegating for the Win
Out of my 12 million staked tokens, I’ve delegated 2.1 million to support the MemeHive community. Delegating these staked tokens is like lending a hand without letting go of the reins—I still own them, but they’re out there powering the platform and fueling its growth. It’s a win-win: the community benefits, and I get to keep contributing to this decentralized meme machine we all love. Honestly, it feels great to play a role in keeping MemeHive buzzing.

The Big Question: What’s Next?
Here’s where I need your wisdom, MemeHive fam. I’ve been burning my daily rewards for a while now, and it’s been a solid strategy—slowly tightening the supply while I stack more tokens. With all 12 million of my tokens staked and 2.1 million delegated, I’ve got a strong foundation. But I can’t shake the feeling there might be something bigger I could do with my stash. I’m talking ambitious, bullish, next-level plays that could supercharge my involvement with MemeHive.

So, I’m turning to you:
Should I stick with burning my rewards to keep the deflationary vibes going? Or is there a bolder move I should consider? Maybe something creative with the VIRAL NFT system or a wild new idea I haven’t even thought of yet? I’m all ears for your input. Let’s brainstorm together—what’s the ultimate power move for a Meme token holder like me?

Let’s Talk!
Drop your thoughts below, MemeHive crew. Should I keep burning bright, or is it time to shake things up? I’m ready to take this journey to the next level, and I want your boldest, most meme-tastic ideas to light the way. Thanks for being the best community out there—let’s keep making MemeHive legendary!

Wow! You're next to lolz.meme when it comes to stakes. 12 million is a huge stake. My son, @kopiko-blanca, is working on his first million. As to your question, here is the summary of the AI's response:

  • Establish yourself as a leading curator and reward valuable content, driving more engagement. I think you are already doing this to some extent. How about launching curation initiatives like daily or weekly featured posts? You can announce a themed curation contest where top meme creators receive MEME token rewards.

  • Collaborate with other tribes like Cent and use the MEME token to reward cross-tribe contests.

  • As for creating exclusive meme NFTs, I am not sure about that, but this is one of the suggestions.

  • Delegate a portion of the 12M MEME to active curators. I think you are also doing this.

  • Add liquidity to the meme pool on Hive Engine.

  • Not sure about the airdrop suggestion.

I think that's all I can say. There are other suggestions, but the above are the ones that made sense to me.

I have added liquidity to the Meme pool on Hive Engine as well.

Let's collaborate with Cent. This sounds like a splendid idea.

Would you mind leading the Meme Theme Curation contest and I will reward the top meme creators on meme tokens?

Ok, I will make a plan for that and will inform you once I am ready.

Initial thoughts. Will it be a weekly meme theme curation contest? How about the prize? How many meme tokens will be rewarded to top meme creators? Let us say there are three winners. What is your preference for 1st place? 2nd place? 3rd place?

What are your suggestions based on a 76 million circulating supply, and the fact that my upvote is about 1,100 memes per vote? I'll give away my rewards. Just recently got over 2K memes just now in rewards from upvoting and posting. If we do it weekly, I'll be able to stack up more rewards. I'm not a good mathematician, so I need your help on this.

Let us do it weekly then. You can choose between two options:

Option 1:

  • 1st place = 1,000 MEME
  • 2nd place = 500 MEME
  • 3rd place = 250 MEME

Since we are just launching, making the reward more attractive is better.

Option 2:

  • 1st place = 2,000 MEME
  • 2nd place = 1,000 MEME
  • 3rd place = 500 MEME
