Wednesday, different from all my other Wednesdays

Today is Wednesday. Some would say it's Wednesday like any other... However, it's not for me.
This week, after the Labor day and Easter holidays, I took vacation days for the first time in the last 8 months and today I came to my cottage.
For me it's a Wednesday like this once a year.

That's why the activities I have today will be different from all the previous ones.

In addition to spring cleaning the house, removing cobwebs, washing windows, small repairs on the house after winter, I spent most of the day walking around the garden.

I have to praise my garden. This garden deserves it!
It is an organic garden, not a single plant has been treated with pesticides, all that has touched the plants was rain and sun.
These days it's strawberry picking time.
I spent a good part of the day picking them, walking between the species and sometimes refreshing myself with them.

I said, they are organic, they can be eaten without washing.
I like them best like that, freshly picked...

During a break from picking strawberries, when I needed to straighten my spine, I walked around the yard and looked at the flowering plants that my mother planted around the yard.

While taking pictures of beautiful flowers, I came across a bee that was busy collecting honey.

And that's how I'm spending this Wednesday, picking strawberries (sometimes I eat them), taking pictures and smelling flowers, listening to birds chirping, far from the city crowd and everyday life, for the first time this year.

If anyone likes these organic strawberries, I can send the address, you are welcome, the only thing is that you have to pick them yourself, my back is stiff 😂

I'm going to relax now. I wish you a happy Wednesday and enjoy your day, as I did.

Thank you for stopping by my post and I hope you enjoyed the photos and the story I shared with you
