Six Months of Growth: Navigating Hive & Hive Engine Amid Market Shifts
Today is my sixth month since the time I recovered my account.
Despite the ongoing fall of the price of HIVE in the crypto market, the USD value of my Hive Engine tokens is doing well. It increased from $45.216 last month to $61.884 today. That's a 36.86% appreciation. That's remarkable in a market dominated by sellers.
Regardless of what's going on outside of Hive, I keep accumulating Hive Engine tokens. I keep adding LEO, BBHO, BEE, and CENT. Earlier I powered up 1,000 CENT:

I realized that BBH has its own front-end and that staking BBHO could be beneficial for BBHO curators. And so, in addition to tribaldex and Cent community, I decided to also curate content published on the BBH tribe.
Last month, my CENT ending balance was 11,606 worth $12.26. Today, even after I added 1,000 CENT more, the USD value declined $12.26 to $8.211. That's a huge drop of 33.02%. This is because the price of CENT dropped from $0.0010566 or 0.00326001 HIVE last month to $0.0006512 or 0.00281002 today.
The current market price of CENT is still very far from the intended peg of one cent. Such a huge price discrepancy. is an opportunity for micro-investors to add more CENT tokens to their stakes.
As for my LEO holdings, there is a slight change in their USD value, from $14.344 last month to $14.073 today. This is despite the fact that I added 107 more LEO. I am not sure if I can power up 150 LEO five days from now.
Six months ago, this account started with zero. Today, despite the fall in prices, the total value of my Hive account is $115.929.
I wish more HIVE Power and CENT Power to all members of the Cent tribe!
