My Actifit Report Card: January 1 2024

Hey Actifitters,

The first day of the year was the first one we were a little bit less active. The rainy weather didn't help.

But when we went for our late morning walk with Sam, we could see some hope with blue spots in the sky.

That made Sam so happy...

But it wasn't a done deal everywhere, still with lots of clouds and fog, especially above the town and the factories in the background.

So we finished this short walk and hoped it would get better in the afternoon. Feeling confident, we decided to visit a cool place nearby, with gorgeous views in almost all directions. Still cloudy but a lot more blue already!

Again, that made Sam so happy!

Or maybe it was because of the great view over the Alps.

We followed a dirt road in the hopes to catch a glimpse of Mont Blanc. It was wet and muddy, but still walkable.

All under the curious eyes of one of the locals.

A mountain did appear behind the fields, but I don't think it was Mont Blanc. Still beautiful!

And even without the mountains, the scenery and colors were very nice anyways.

Just like the day before, some of the hills looked fiery!

When we got back to our starting point, the sky looked really different. We stayed there for a bit. I tried snapping more pictures of Sam, but with the low light, he was just a blur again. He's too fast!

One last view of the Alps now turning pinkish.

And we were on our way back home.

Like I said, not a very active day, but not a completely lazy one either. Two short walks in very cool places, especially the second one, that ain't so bad!
