My Actifit Report Card: November 13 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was mostly a typical Monday, which means I spent too much time indoors, stuck in meetings. The weather was really sunny though, so in the afternoon, when I finally could get out, we immediately went to the yard with Kaia.
If you remember that little tree that I mentioned a few times because it resisted losing its leaves. Well, that's finally it unfortunately
And same for most of the trees in the backyard.
Of course, we quickly went to the forest behind the yard. The view gets better and better without the leaves.
We usually don't go inside this forest, at least not now because Kaia's still recovering, but this time we did because I knew the golden hour light would be nice.
We could even catch a few glimpses of the sunset.
But nothing beats the real forest, so that's where we went next.
Still a few yellow and dark orange colors out there.
Of course, some areas clearly show fall season is almost over.
So let's enjoy the last colors!
Overall, not a bad walk for a busy Monday! Let's do it again tomorrow!

Looking at the photos you shared makes me feel like I'm saying good-bye to autumn now. Guess I'm just waiting for the first snow fall :D I forgot if LeChat likes winter too. Does she? 'coz she looks fluffy enough to withstand the cold. :D I'm sure Kaia's excited to be ready to go back to exploring more. happy midweek to you all!

Thanks! This is exactly what I am waiting for too: snow! Impatiently !lolz Although technically it wouldn't be the first one, as we got a dusting a couple weeks ago.
I don't think Le Chat loves winter, but she tolerates it. At least now, she can get in the house anytime she wants (the first winter, and maybe the second one, she wasn't allowed in the house yet...). Years ago, we built a nice outdoor house for her, with a heated mat, she mostly stays in there during very cold days, unless she's with us in the actual house of course.

I was thinking the same thing just a few days ago, even without the leaves, the forest can still be really beautiful, especially with the late afternoon light.
With the time change, it does get a bit difficult to get out before sundown. We like walking at night too, but photowalking becomes really challenging.

Absolutely, you're so welcome! Yes, the sun adds to and brings out the beauty of the leafless trees! That's one thing I don't have to deal with anymore, time changes...lol! Two places where I've lived, Arizona and here in Hawai'i don't have time changes. Yes, walking at night can be so lovely too, though, yeah, taking photos does become slightly more challenging!
