My Actifit Report Card: October 23 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday morning started sunny, so I made sure we could spend as much time as possible outdoor.
Kaia was more than happy to patrol the yard while I took photos of the fall foliage.
But I think Le Chat is starting to think she's a dog. She joined us in the yard as soon as she saw us.
When we went to the forest behind the front yard, I didn't think she would follow us.
But I was wrong! She was right there with us.
Almost heeling alongside Kaia.
But not exactly, she's still an independent outdoor feline, ready to switch to predator mode at any time.
Since the weather was so nice, I decided to go ahead and extend our walk in the neighborhood, even if we don't usually do that in the morning. Le Chat decided to not follow us for that part.
Sun, blue sky and fall colors, what else could we need?
And who was there to greet us when we came back? Of course Le Chat!
We went for a few more walks during the day, but the weather turned much more gloomy, so no more photos until the Moon was out there. It was cloudy but I got a few nice ones.
With these walks and pacing during several long phone calls, it was one of my best step counts in a while. Still far from my averages from a few months ago, but I'm sure we'll get back there when Kaia is fully recovered.

It rained from Friday night through Sunday followed by freezing temps along with our first frost. Most of the yellow and over half the orange foliage fell, unfortunately. Still pretty to look at both on the trees and the ground though!

Kind of the same here, except we were lucky, most of the rain was overnight. Lots of wind though, so lots of leaves gone. I agree, still beautiful, and tonight with the very first snow dusting of the season, it makes it even better! Typical Michigan temperatures swings, almost 80F end of last week, snow today... I prefer the snow, so all good!

Amazing colors of fall! They look prettier now. Does it peak soon before winter sets in? Ooohhh love the LeChat photos. She's a big cat I'd love to hug LOL! Is she sweet at all? 'coz she looks like a wild cat :P but that's just me. It seems she enjoys being closer to home. I love the moon photos! kinda miss watching the night sky. do enjoy the midweek!

Thanks! It was a little weird this year, but yeah, I think peak is near. But you never know, today was 78F (about 25C), a 20+ degrees jump, and there's more temperature swings in the week forecast, so it might affect foliage as well.
Le Chat usually doesn't show much affection, but sometimes, when she, and she only, decides it, she'll find a spot on you while you watch TV. I think so too, maybe a couple blocks around the house, and the small forest, but not much further.

Thanks! It does look quite beautiful now. That really makes me want to visit one of the local parks this week end, but it will depend on the weather and of course Kaia's healing. We're getting close, we shouldn't overdo it now.
