My Actifit Report Card: October 21 2023
Hey Actifitters,
For a Saturday, yesterday was eerily similar to the previous days, except it started a bit later of course. First walk with Kaia started in the yard.
Kaia finished her usual patrol along the fence, even behind the garage, with all these obstacles.
Fall colors are still spreading, and turning a bit more orange.
Later, we also went near the forest behind the front yard.
It's also a big mess there, Kaia thinks we should check it out, but of course her leg is not healed enough for that.
So once again, we went into the neighborhood instead, it's much easier and even terrain. And the foliage ain't bad either.
There's also chances to meet the locals. This one had some serious antlers!
We kept it relatively short, but it was our longest walk since Kaia's surgery. That allowed us to check out this street which is usually pretty cool around Fall.
And that was it. Both Kaia and I are missing our long walks, but I checked again the post-surgery instructions, and we're already pushing it, so we still have to be patient for a few more weeks.

Wow lovely to see more of the colors of fall as Halloween comes nearer. The amazing photos make up for the absence of LeChat today. LOL! Good to see Kaia getting her walk-xercise. :D It's so nice that you actually see deer visitors almost daily on your walks. Must be good to live close to nature. Does your neighborhood celebrate Halloween? It would be interesting to see the decorations all around LOL :D Happy new week ahead!

Thanks! Le Chat was around, but stayed shy, and she didn't follow us in the neighborhood. She has days like that. Deer still visit the yard daily, and of course we see them in the forest behind the fence. I'll never really get used to it.
I feel there isn't as much Halloween decorations as usual, but maybe it's because we don't roam hours in the neighborhood, as we used to. Not sure if the kids will trick or treat, the two infamous German Shepherds used to be scary enough for them to avoid our house!

Thanks! Yep, some of the colors are already gone, but the new ones are really nice. Hopefully we get a couple more weeks like that. Kaia's healing indeed, I'm impatient for the 8 week recheck (in a little more than 3 weeks), that should tell us for sure if it was a successful surgery.
