One Wednesday in July and a lot of walking
It was at the end of July, we visited the #Jahorina mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We drove to Jahorina, which was one of the mountains near Sarajevo where the skiing events of the 1984 Winter Olympics were held.
We checked into the beautiful Alpin apart hotel, put on comfortable shoes and went for a walk on the slopes of the mountain.
We came across a mountain house that could be our accommodation when we come to Jahorina again.
We passed by beautiful landscapes, took pictures of the landscape.
We hiked, but there were also tourists who decided to see the mountain by riding quad bikes.
They surely miss the beauty of nature that we pedestrians notice...
Since we were tired, we decided to reach the top of the mountain by gondola.
We sat on the benches and enjoyed the view of the top of the mountain.
For the return from the top of the mountain, we decided on a bobsleigh summer sled - A favorite attraction on Jahorina.
We bought tickets with Mastercard's slogan written on the back: "Being on top. Priceless". I agree absolutely :-)

Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk :)
I like to walk, I like to take photos... The right community for me. I'm glad I found you. I hope we will have a lot of interesting posts :-)
👍🙂👍
I forgot to say this post brought back nice memories from when I visited there the views and scenery so beautiful
But i only went up there in winter its beautiful at the time of year you were there
I would only go to Jahorina in the winter if I was an excellent skier... And since I don't ski, summer is the ideal season for me :-)
yeah its great for skiing, but that was the last time I skied, I smashed my knees when I was 18 ( not skiing LOL) and although I had been doing well with them that skiing trip did my knees in
I'm sorry to hear that :-(
Knee injuries are very inconvenient, I hope you recover...
My friend broke his knee while skiing, he had a serious operation. As soon as his knee was healed, when he got out of the car, he stood on the curb and straightened his leg. He injured the same knee even more seriously. And another operation. Finally, after almost a year, he can walk again. He doesn't think about skiing and any sport (football, for example) anymore... Just walking, jogging, cycling, swimming and gym...
no worries I cope with it well, was told i would need surgery when I was 19 or never be able to run again, I passed onthe surgery and did a marathon 5 weeks later perhaps foolishly, never had the surgery but now I am getting older regretting the crazy things I did
