I got kicked in the face by a horse last night...
Soo I'm officially a Fucking Blooming Idiot. I left the gate open and the dogs woke me up barking at 3:30 AM when the horse walked in the yard. He's super tame and I usually just grab his mane and direct him back out of the yard, but I wasn't awake and thinking properly and when i was walking behind him to then get to his side (he was in tight roadway) I mistakelny touched his rump and he kicked me. It might actually be worse than it looks, I can't open my mouth very much and It feels like my cheek might be broken and the orbit around my eye is pushing into the eyeball a bit. But I think I got lucky, if it were over my nose and mouth area I'd be missing teeth and have a broken jaw probably. Obviously don't have experience around horses lol. I don't think there's much to be done today, I'm going to rest and go to hospital tomorrow for an Xray, am glad it wasn't worse. School of hard knock, the story of my life hahaha. I'm so sorry for what happened to you; I can totally relate to what you're going through. When I was a kid, I had an experience that was quite similar. And I did consider myself to be rather fortunate to be alive as well.
