Today’s #lpud is my 18th since the month this initiative started and my 12th for 2023. So far, I made it straight for the whole year writing an entry every month.

Thinking of what to post, I decided to write a recap of my significant accomplishments for the whole year of 2023. This article might serve as the basis for 2024 or this could be my last.

If this will be my last #lpud post, I am contemplating just accumulating the token from the background and focusing on curation as my time allows. Or I could write a post not necessarily every month but depending on any significant growth of my account. This is to avoid monotony in writing even though there is nothing worthy to report about.

As for my previous goal to grow my stakes to 15,000, I am also having second thoughts about this. Perhaps, just holding my current stakes and adding the weekly rewards to my $LEO Power is enough. By doing this I can focus on achieving my other HE token goals to fast-track my HP/HBD goals.

300.42% cumulative % growth is not at all bad in a year that has been dominated by the bears. As for $HIVE incentives, the months that I received higher rewards were May, July, and August. For the last eleven months, my articles got 59.37 $HIVE, and 50% of that, of which 29.68 $HIVE was added to my wallet.

The First LEO Power Up Day (LPUD) this 2023!

It is in this first post of 2023 that I set my goal to achieve the CUB status with 5,000 $LEO Power. To accomplish the target, I doubled my monthly stakes every LPUD from 150 LEO to 300 LEO. The 5 SWAP.HIVE from $SME per week at that time gave me at least 128 LEO every month. I also set aside 500.00 PHP or $9.10 to purchase an additional 149 LEO.

Unfortunately, during the second month of 2023, the price of $SME started to fall which affected my purchase of $LEO. Despite this, I was still able to accumulate 371 $LEO.

Another token assisted me in my $LEO goal. This time, it was $GOSH.

Powering Up 300 LEO on My Birth Month

In addition to $SME and $GOSH, three more Hive Engine tokens helped me achieve my $LEO goal for 2023. They are $CENT, $CTP, and $LOLZ. Because of them, I was able to accumulate 465 $LEO for the whole month.

Powering Up $LEO and Threading

The month of May signaled a big shift in my $LEO journey due to the introduction of the zealy.io campaign. As a result of my active participation at that time, I was included in the top 10 threaders. The support of @leo.voter at the time was also a big boost.

The following month, nothing significant happened. It was just a monthly routine.

Reminiscing the Last Two Months on Today's LPUD

In July, I reflected on my experiences over the past two months. Several milestones happened such as starting a series of articles on financial freedom, creating a video account on 3Speak, using Open Art AI, and working on an academic writing project. It was also in the same month that I became more aggressive in my $HBD, $WOO, $SPORTS, and $CENTG purchases.

The Many "Seconds" in My Life's Journey and Today's #LPUD

Beginning in August, my schedule got crowded due to the Ph.D. program and enrollment period. We are also understaffed. Despite these challenges, I still participated in #LPUD.

Septemburst #LPUD!

During this month, I shared my long-term plan for the $SPORTS token. I intended to achieve 50M $SPORTS Power. Once I achieved that, I planned to exchange the $SPORTS rewards for HIVE Power.

Uptober's #LPUD!

It was in October that I observed the changing sentiment in the crypto space, with some referring to this month as "Uptober." I also shared the reasons for my minimal involvement in Hive due to work pressure and health issues plus the difficulties our school encountered dealing with government agencies and the confusion surrounding our school's certification status with the SEC.

Powered Up a Total of 775 $LEO!

Last month, I achieved my CUB goal earlier than expected. Instead of powering up 300 $LEO, I powered up 775. A new game was introduced. This time it was Holozing.

And then for the last #lpud of 2023, I powered up a total of 433 $LEO, lower than last month, and yet higher than all the first ten months of the year.

So that's the story of my Leo journey for 2023. By providing a recap of the year, this article will serve as my future reference.
