To avoid draining my voting power bar due to excessive Hive activity, I have been receiving persistent suggestion to create a separate account for each tribe I intend to do my content curation. The suggestion did not sink in to my brain though I have been seeing a lot of Hive accounts doing such strategy.

A change took place due to at least three influences:

• My search for the appropriate tribe for my wife's account

• The inclusion of a new token in my list, and

• The demand to complete my academic requirement

Search for the Suitable Tribe for My Wife's Content

Since my wife struggled to understand how #Web3 platform works and I also have difficulty explaining to her the technologies behind it such as blockchain and cryptocurrency, I suggested to her the easiest route I know, which is via somee.social. Among numerous Hive front-ends, the platform is closest to how Facebook works, the most popular social media on the planet.

Finally, I got my wife uploaded her first micro-post last 18 May though her account has been in existence for almost two years now. Her post is about her mountain climbing experience in Nagpatong Rock Formation, Tanay, Rizal.

My wife's interests are different from mine. She loves cooking; I love eating. She is also into art and the only thing I can draw is a stick man. She also likes sports and outdoor activities like hiking and mountain climbing. In my case, I stopped playing basketball after I experienced excruciating pain for three weeks after playing the sport. It seems that the lower part of my body had been disconnected and and even just taking a walk was really a struggle. That was a nightmare of an experience that I don't want to revisit.

And so I encouraged her to post her interests on Hive. However, after trying somee.social for sometime and seeing no engagement, I tried another tribe. This time, it's Cent. She did her first video upload in the tribe 11 days ago about her journey to Mount Espadang Bato (Sword Stone). For some reason, the second video she uploaded six days ago didn't show up in the tribe. It is about her travel to Mount Pamitinan.It is exactly on that same day that @greywarden100 introduced a new token to me.

The Inclusion of a New Token in My List

As I explore Sports Talk Social, I realized that perhaps this is exactly the tribe suitable for my wife's content, and so I decided to buy the $SPORTS token and delegated them to my wife's account. Currently, I already delegated 3.2M $SPORTS token to my wife's account, @arlenec2021. By using her account to curate sports related content, I expect that my voting power will no longer go down below 50%.

Yesterday, @fit.zone invited me to join the 50M Sports Power Club. I think reaching that target is good enough for my curation activity in this tribe. As for content creation, I am just waiting for my wife to upload her next video.

The Demand to Complete My Academic Requirement

Still, one last influence that made me change my curation strategy is due to the deadline of our research paper for my Ph. D. program. In this case, I have been using my second son's account to post my summary and reflection of at least five hundred words, taking the required references little by little. I made this decision because I think if I will not make it intentional to write at least one page, there is no way I can complete the requirement. The month of August is coming and I expect that three more research papers await me. It is easy to be overwhelmed by all of these requirements and there are times that with my age, I have been thinking if this academic hard work is really worth it. Anyhow, taking these papers slowly and one piece at a time, I wish that this kind of writing strategy will work.

As to how my writing assignment is connected to my curation activity, what I am doing now is that I am posting my content on the Cent tribe using @kopiko-blanca's account. To make this writing activity productive, I intend to delegate all my $CENT power to my son's account. I am still waiting for that 8,000 $CENT I undelegated from two accounts. Once they arrive, I will immediately delegate them to my son's account and I anticipate that the power of his account will reach 40,000. The goal is between 50,000 to 100,000. I think I will follow the example of my friend, @greywarden100.
