5,000 HIVE Power!!!

“To all the Red Fish and Minnow out there, make it your goal to achieve that 5,000 HIVE Power (HP)!” This seems to be the focus in @jongolson’s podcast that I just watched.

After watching the show, I reflected then on my own HP goal. Tracing back my posts in the past several months, I observe how funny it is to see the evolution of my HP goals since the first day I wrote my crypto goals for 2022.

Last 16 November 2021, which was six months ago, I published my HP goal for this year. At that time, I only had 21 HP and so in my mind, making it to 100 HP for the next twelve months is already an ambitious dream.

Three months later, on 23 January this year, though I updated my crypto goals, particularly the layer two tokens, my HP goal remains the same.

Just more or less ten days after, I made another update on 03 February 2022. I didn’t expect that I could easily surpass that 100 HP goal in a very short period of time. This time, my goal is 500. It’s a 400% increase in HIVE Power (HP). Perhaps, I was drunk that day. I forgot what entered my mind making such an “unrealistic” goal. When I updated my goal to 500, my HP was 111.

It appears that I was not satisfied with the second update I made. Just five days later, I changed it again to 2,225 HP. I think this new number is bigger than me. Looking at my current financial resources at that time, there is no way I can achieve this bold goal by the end of the year.

After almost closed to three months, I never made another revision. But today, after watching @jongolson’s podcast giving Hivers a challenge to achieve 5,000 HIVE Power (HP) as a goal, I decided to make another update.

With my current HP at 376, my immediate goal is to reach 500 within the next two months. After achieving that number, I have to find a way to accomplish that 5,000 HP after a year or two. Who knows? Perhaps, with the support coming from other layer two tokens (especially LISTNERDS) and the fund that I am expecting from my planned loans, I might achieve this goal even earlier than I intended.
