The government should take care of the country.

Kindly proffer solution instead of sabotaging all CBN policies to stabilize the currency. From what I have read so far, you haven't been able to bring up a viable solution but condemning the policies.

This CBN Gov is working is ass out to find a solution to this freefall. We are all bearing the aftereffects of Goodluck's Oil global boom that was mismanaged and Buhari's regime that was crippled by unlucky COVID-19 effect on global economics and Emefiele's damaging policies on our foreign reserve at the behest of his Boss.

Tinubu is the scapegoat for the period thinking ruling Lagos gives him the pass for ruling a whole diverse sovereign state called Nigeria coupled with his corrupt government (business) partners, greedy citizens and selfish interest of some cabals.

We need to go back to the basics of Agribusiness just like what Brazilian President did by making Brazil the oga patapata in SoyaBeans exporter ; if we can also cut a leaf from his template and be oga patapata in exporting our Cassava or Cocoa or palm oil coupled with policies protecting farmers and subsistence farming for our immediate family or our economy will be worse than SanTome.

How did we get here? Reverse it and we'll get back to somewhere better. You can't preach to people when the evidence is clear that it usually continues crumbling. When they go back to exports like we wanted earlier and the Naira will probably stay at the same range for like 6 months straight, gradually people will start believing in the currency again and we won't new set of hoarders.

I think this govt has set all the policies needed to stable the economy but enforcement is the main issues and also what are state and local government doing too ! we say export is the state and local government creating a viable business environment for export ? In Port Harcourt alone to move good within the state you might end up paying more than N1000 to police within a mile drive All the policies formulated are for us to follow, if we follow, good and we bear the consequences and if we don't follow, bad and we bear the consequences. We are at their mercies.

So if I may ask a question...
This your so-called natural survival instinct; is it about you alone as a citizen or we fight for survival as citizens? Because at this rate the poor will end up eating the rich and their family members.

I rest my case.

Some of the most dangerous words in any language are : “I’m from the government, I’m here to help”. That help is often NOT free of consequences, long or short term and are very frequently not in our best interest.

What’s occurring I think is sadly the result of decades of wild manipulations of economic policies to favor a very small amount of people. The chickens are coming home to roost and with the global aspect of the economy and information, the countries and banks are having a really difficult time keeping things in their favor. I don’t know what the specific solutions would be for this but it has to involve people coming together and not depending on the government to do it for them. We are incredibly smart and strong in our own right, we just need to be organized and know our strength!

True but the divide and rule theory has been working for them using hunger as a major tool of control.
