Trying Out Minimalistic Photography

Hello everyone... It's been a while since I last posted anything non-Actifit or non-Strava related posts πŸ˜… I have been quite busy with my new life as an event photographer now that I'm always editing photos whenever I have free time 🀣.

Anyways this is my entry to this weeks POBPhotocontest with a theme of MINIMALISM. Honestly I had no idea that MINIMALISM means a type of photography with lots of empty space and to be quite honest I've been doing lots of Minimalist photography without me even knowing what I'm doing 🀣 so I decided to join this week 😁. I choose this lone ship because to be quite honest I always see a couple of them pass by our wharf every time. Second is that the mountains on the other side was completely covered in fog which makes an illusion that the other side is an empty space when in fact it is quite close to land and will be proven below...

As you can see this small boat is actually going in the opposite direction as the huge boat above but both of them are exactly besides the province of Bohol in which you can see the mountains above. I could've easily gone with the small boat above but I felt like the mountains in the background distracts you from the main subject and thus I couldn't really say it hits the spot. What do you think?

Above is another one I've taken yesterday. A mangrove plant sprouting in sea. I was really pondering if I should go with this one as this one also hits the spot for me. I wish I could enter more photos into the fray but alas you can only nominate one 😭

I usually see a couple of bottles here and there in our wharf as this is a perfect spot to enjoy a drink especially during at night when it's cold. So this one is quite rare and nope I didn't put it there on purpose. It was already there when I got to the wharf. I'm just wondering now why only one bottle? For me I doubt it is enough, even myself am not a heavy drinker and I drink quite occasionally and I think one bottle isn't enough. Was it a woman who drank this? So many thoughts come to mind 😁

Lastly is this fisherman who was working alone fixing the net he laid? or maybe he is laying the fishing net? I'm not entirely sure but one thing I do know is that yesterday was piping hot and him doing his work without any shirt on is kinda amazing to my eyes. If it was me I would be fine as long as I have a shirt on but having my bare back being cooked like that? Hell no 🀣

Anyways guys this is all for me today. I hope you like the "MINIMALIST" Photos I've presented you today. Till next time 😊 Cheers! 😎
