Five Hundred Million PEPE Burned!

Bunch of tokens have been burned.

Will burn more tokens in about a week next weekend to better balance the number of tokens in circulation. Welcome to ideas from the community as well.

Past week a little less than ten million tokens have initially been distributed to new PEPE token holders! May burn another half or down to the market size, or only tokens bought back from the market that may be recycled. Will have the tokens on reserve to potentially be exchanged for HIVE. In time we'll raise more HIVE to add features to the PEPE token.

Not a bad idea at all burning some of the supply. I support it.. Is that not kind of the same thing Pepe on Ethereum does?

Yes (and no?)..

The contract has a built in burn function. From what I have read it has not yet been used or triggered. Therefore not fully understood. Also to note tokens may be burned by being sent to blacklisted addresses.
