MY CLEANING ACTIVITIES DAY 121...... 21/01/2024
It's another day to clean the planet and I have accomplished my mission of cleaning the planet today.
In my previous post, I made mention that I will be travelling to Abakalike soon. well, that soon was today. I am currently in Abakalike, Ebonyi state Nigeria for another round of experience.
This experience is the one where I witness both normal and abnormal cases of midwifery. I'll get to "catch heads." Hehe.
Irrespective of the distance from home, I am very happy because my career is going great and the rest of me is not fading. Quite a hard feat to maintain
Before travelling, I did my cleanplanet activities and it was really enjoyable.
So, speaking of midwifery practice,
Ladies pay attention, people pay to hear or read what I am about to tell you now but I a giving it for free
it is important from every female to properly check themselves, make sure you go for preconception care. As simple as it may sound, many factors that can cause harm your baby could be detected during this time and means of managing it will be devised.
It is important to follow every advice given to you by your health care provider no matter how uncomfortable it is to you. At times, we have to sacrifice our comfort to get a better result.
Don't assume, don't feel like you can handle your self. If you notice any deviation from normal during pregnancy or pueperium, go straight to the maternity, clinic or hospital and report your findings. Do not claim that you know all.
During pregnancy, exercise of mild to moderate intensity is very important to keep blood flow. Also, medications given to you by the midwife should be taken accordingly, except it causes side effects.
After pregnancy, observe closely for signs of pueperium. Pueperal care will be given to you and this includes health education about pueperium. Always heed to the advice of your health provider and don't forget to ask questions when necessary.
