FORGIVE AND FORGET MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

Being a christian comes with many sacrifices and many things we need to abstain from. One thing that is difficult to do is forgiving and forgetting. We as humans tend to remember the wrong doing of others towards us which makes it difficult to forgive and forget.

why is it that the bad things that they have done to you is hard to forget? the only rightful answer to this question is the lack of love. Brother Eli Soriano

The love are talking about here is the one taught by Jesus in his doctrines. we should learn to love our brothers, be kind to one another and do good for each other irrespective of the situation we tend to find ourselves.

the reason why we remember the unpleasant things in the eyes of God and man is tat there is a force behind it. A force that brings the memory back.

Hebrews 8:12
For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.

God said he will forgive us of all our sins. God has love for us which is the reason why he is willing to forgive and forget all of our sins and inequities even though he has a perfect memory to keep on remembering the bad things that was done.

Romans 11:33
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

we can never understand Gods love, wisdom and knowledge. God has a perfect memory and still, he promised to forget and forget our sins. we who our memories are not as perfect as Gods memory, we still find it difficult to forget all of the bad things that has happened to us.

we should try as much as possible to pray to God to help us alleviate the spirit that is making us not to forget the bad things that has happened to us which was caused by another person.
