Creative Sunday: making a Shirt for myself

It's Sunday and one activity we carryout here on hive learners is to show how creative we are.

For this Sunday, I will share in details how a novice like me made a shirt well, with the help of my brother who cut the material.

After cutting the fibric for the shirt, I went straight into action.

First of all I identified everything to make sure that everything is complete and I am not missing anything.

I folded the "button side" of the shirt to give it a better look. Not a scattered look.

After folding it, I joined the shirt at the shoulder to give it the appearance above.

After accomplishing that, I prepared the hand and attached it to the shirt.

When I was attaching it to the shirt.
I attached the right hand to the right shoulder aspect and attached the left hand to the left shoulder then I sewed it.

This is the result after fixing the hands.

The next step here is to construct the collar and fix it. Constructing the collar is another work on its own but I did it well on my first try.

Basically, the collar is divided into two aspects: the upper and lower aspect.

First off, I constructed something like this for the collar. This is the topmost aspect of the collar and the length is about 16inches while the width is 3inches and became 2½ after sowung it to the lower aspect of the collar.

Next I added a strong material that could stick to the fibric to give the collar it's rigid nature. I added this material on the top and lower collar.

I sew the conners of the collar to give it a good and strong appearance.

Sewing one part of the collar to the shirt.

After sewing one part, this is the result. I then sewed the other part of the collar to the shirt also then I run a thread on the. attachment to make it strong and rigid.

Before I ran the thread on the attachment this is what it looked like.
NB: the shirt entered the collar and I sewed the shirt inside the collar then I sewed the attachment of the shirt and collar to make it stronger.

After sewing the attachment, this is what I got.

Next, I sewed the lateral aspect of the shirt to cover up everything after which I sewed the bottom end of the shirt to complete the sewing process.

Is the process finished yet?

NOPE

The sewing is not yet finished. Next up I fixed some buttons to the shirt to and then I Ironed the shirt, then put it on the human-like statue for a cool picture.

After I finished ironing the shirt.

Now the shirt is ready for me to wear and go out for my normal daily activities.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate.

ALL PICTURES BELONG TO ME ABD WERE TAKEN WITH MY TECHNO SPARK 4 MOBILE PHONE

I hope to see you next time.
