Since it's a tree on private property, the city is only responsible for anything falling on public property, in this case the road. Anything in my yard is my responsibility. Normally, I would take care of it myself, but this one might be too large, and I'll probably call a company.
Yeah, we were quite lucky that tree fell this way, and not towards the house, and also no power outage at all, that was a surprise.
