My Actifit Report Card: December 7 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was another pretty busy day. But after several grey days, it was good to see the sun and blue sky in the morning.

Can you see how happy Kaia was about it?

Le Chat was also very happy. Yes, that's one of her happy faces!

I was finally able to get my car back, new brakes, new winter tires, I am now ready for anything this Michigan winter throws at us. But for now, it's unfortunately very mild. At least, even if some clouds started to appear, it stayed sunny until later in the afternoon, when we were getting ready for our long walk of the day.

Kaia was still very happy about it of course.

And by then, Le Chat was ecstatic...

But we didn't stay with her too long, because I didn't want to miss the sunset. Kaia and I started our walk with a first stop behind the front yard.

And we quickly headed towards the golf course. But I couldn't pass up on this deer family having their meal in a front yard. They saw us and looked at us, but that didn't stop them from eating.

At our first viewpoint, the sun was already behind one building, but the colors in the sky were so fiery!

Obviously, the next stop was the South end of the golf course.

We continued near the entrance that has the very best views in my opinion.

The sky was just on fire!

Of course, now way I wouldn't stop at the North end of the course.

I easily could have stayed much longer, but we finally had to leave these great views behind us, as I also wanted to go to the forest.

When we arrive from that side, we can meet our tree friend first. Still full of leaves!

And we finally made it to the trails in the forest, as it was getting dark.

Kaia could finally run her heart out off-leash. So many critters to chase...

And finally, as we've been doing several times this week, we finished our walk in the neighborhood for a few more miles.

In spite of plenty of things to do, I'm glad we were able to enjoy some of the sunny weather, especially the sunset in the clouds.

Your description of LeChat made me LOL. :P I guess it's not too cold so she's hanging out outside, huh? Well, glad that Kaia can now do longer walks and explore some more. She looks very pleased. Yeah Le Chat doesn't change. And as always, she just does whatever she wants, sometimes inside, sometimes outside, depending on her mood I guess. It was indeed quite warm this week, especially yesterday with a peak above 60F (or 16C). So definitely no snow, and even if colder temperatures are on the forecast, it's supposed to stay dry this week. We'll wait. We had a couple of nice sunsets this week too, lots of really vibrant colors with the clouds.
