My Actifit Report Card: October 10 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started once again with a walk around the backyard with Kaia. As I was saying recently, many of the colorful leaves are already on the ground.
While it's still mostly green in the front yard. Weird.
Kaia is getting stronger and she really wanted to patrol the perimeter.
Of course, Le Chat was intrigued.
And she joined in the search.
Much later in the afternoon, in spite of the rain, well more like drizzle really, we went for another walk.
I decided Kaia deserved an actual walk, outside the yard. Like I said, she's getting stronger, and the post-surgery care instructions mention that after 2 weeks, we can start short walks. So we went towards the small forest just behind the fence.
Of course we didn't go in, she's not ready yet for this kind of terrain.
But a short walk in the neighborhood was perfect.
We didn't go too far, no need to overdo it on her first real walk after her surgery. But it seems that was long enough for Le Chat to miss us, as she greeted us enthusiastically in the front yard.
Pretty sure I was supposed to go for a run too, but by then it was actually raining and that completely ruined my motivation. That half marathon this week end ain't gonna be fun!

Thanks! Yes, it's good to see her healing normally. It might become our new evening ritual, short walk around the house, with Le Chat joining for the last couple minutes. Nope, very little training, if I do decide to run, I will not enjoy it!
