My Actifit Report Card: October 4 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was partly sunny again, so of course we spent some time in the yard. I really like the current foliage colors on this side.

It was also a good opportunity for these two clowns to hang out together. It doesn't happen too often since Kaia's surgery.

But we had an intruder. It started yelling at us before it found an acorn.

Le Chat wanted to chase it away, this is her yard!

We stayed a little more just admiring all these colors.

Later in the afternoon, I wanted to snap some more photos in the golden hour light.

For once, Kaia almost posed as I wanted.

Le Chat on the other hand responded by sticking her tongue out at me!

So Kaia was like "Come on Le Chat, it'll be fun!"

So she finally decided to join, but at first she wouldn't even acknowledge Kaia.

That's the best we got here.

After that, like the day before, I thought I would go in the forest, to hopefully catch the sunset.

And of course find some deer.

As often, the clouds made the sunset even better.

But I realized that if I could somehow get behind the wall, the view would be even better. So I went through the hole in the wall, across a little bit more forest, and finally arrived in an area that I never went to before, simply because it's mostly warehouses and offices. But the view was indeed very good.

Even better after a few more minutes walking West.

When the sun finally went down behind the trees, I made my way back the same way I arrived. As a bonus, I noticed some places where the fall colors will be very good soon.

Funny how I never went there, even after all these years living in this house. I wasn't disappointed and I am pretty sure I will go again, especially when Kaia can walk again.
It was dark when I arrived back home and that was pretty much the end of the day's activities.
