Congratulations India 🇮🇳

The country becomes the fourth to successfully land a spacecraft on the moon, but is the first to touch down on the relatively unexplored lunar south pole.

India's space rocket was launched on 14th July, 41 days later the spacecraft made a soft landing on the moons southern region for the first time ever.

Chandrayaan-3, which means Moon vehicle in Sanskrit language, deposited a lander and a 6 wheel rover which will begin gathering data for 1 lunar daylight period, the equivalent of 14 earth days.

Thousands of people across India crowded in offices, shops, homes and restaurants eagerly waiting to witness the outcome of the mission.

As India joins the Space power house and continues to further its research, we congratulate the entire team, the country and the world as a whole, as the victory gets written in history and is a celebration of what humans, their intelligence, science and technology are capable of achieving.

Many were seen praying, the Indian cricket team cheering, news reporters all on standby to tellycast live and India's Prime Minister holding and waving the Indian flag with pride as they watched the historical moment.
