Hello everyone.

Welcome to my blog.

Some people say, I am not a relationship or love type because it's complicated.

Well, I believe in true love, and it's true when you understand and know what love is.
I mean relationship love, not brotherly or sisterly love.

That doesn't mean I am a relationship expect.

Your contribution to this will help someone out there, though in life we all have our own personal ways to solve a problem.
But one way or the other, those contributions make it work, too.

Firstly, let's talk about first love.

Yesterday, I listened to my friend's seminar on relationships and marriage.
She talked generally about it.
Well, I am not here to talk about her general talk.

I just got curious about first love.
Some lucky people are blessed to get married to their first love, and live happily ever after.
While some couldn't, because of a choice they made by choosing another person to be their partner.

But strangely, they find it difficult to forget about their first love.
Making their partner suffer from the choice they made.

Some lead to questioning their choice, no damage control and eventually divorce.

I know you will say, they are not meant to be.
But my belief is, once you choose that person to be your partner, it's your responsibility to make it to be “meant to be”.

What's so special about your ex (first love) that you can't do away?
That makes you always remember the person and continue to compare your partner to him/her.

Then, why didn't you end up with your first love?
Why make it so complicated and unbelievable?

The first love (ex) syndrome keeps repeating itself in the society.
Humans needs and desires can be destructive at times.

And every wrong choice made has its consequences.

So, you right now that keep remembering and wanting your first love (ex).
Why do you think it's necessary to bother yourself with that?

You are married, you still can't do away with your first love (ex).
Why is it so?

Remember, the past should be in the past.

Hello @jmis101 this sounds very important. No one should be compared to someone else. Every person is a unique individual in all ways. I think people need to work on their relationships. No one is perfect. If they are willing to try and do better that is a huge plus! It takes time to get to know someone new and they should not be judged on a past love. Have a great rest of the week! Great words there friend. The past should really be in the past. But the thing about first love goes beyond that. Maybe, the length of time spent together ensure that the bonding becomes sometimes difficult to do away with. My thinking though.
