My Actifit Report Card: September 23 2023: I Am Alive Challenge

The weekend is here woohoo......
It's with great joy that I gladly welcome you to my actifit report for Saturday 23rd September, 2023.
My day started with rain, it rained from last night until in the morning.
It was my turn to wash the compound toilet and bathroom 😪
I finished up to prepare for a singing competition, a friend of mine invited me to.
It was a Christian singing competition 😊, and kind of youth rated competition 😅
So, I began the journey by passing some places in town.
The rain stopped before I stepped out.
So, walking a bit before taking a bus was enjoyable.
No rain, no sun.... Only the cool refreshing breeze.
Locating the place was not really difficult from what she described.
But it was in the outcast of the city.
Better description is new site🤔 that's how some places are called here, for a place that is developing with beautiful buildings.
I got there early enough, they haven't started.
I thought it was just going to be few minutes wait.
But no, they applied African time 🤦🏼♀️.
They didn't start on time.
All the delay was for the judges to come.
Well, to keep us engaged.
They called in the contestants in two batches for us to see and know them.
Finally, the judges came and the competition started.
Some contestants came in unprepared, while some sang so amazingly great.
The joint sounds of keyboard, vocals from 24 contestants all went to my head.
I came back to nurse my headache.
The headache was so bad, and my network connection disconnected.
I rested for sometime thinking it will come back but it didn't, until this morning.
So I wasn't able to complete some online task before calling it a day.

Rain from morning till night, sounds like Nigeria weather all right the only benefit it brings is the cool fresh air . I guess you got a migraine there, hope you nurse it quite well and its getting much better?

Am glad to know that, one doesn't even need paracetamol for an headache all the time, just rest is all that's needed

It's funny, several cultures seem to have a challenging time keeping track of time, and a particular name for it. In Costa Rica they called it tico time (ticos are what they call themselves). But I had a night fever.
I didn't enter because of the distance to the place and time, I could have been going for requirements every two days before the competition.
Here is like an unending culture with time 😅
