My Actifit Report Card: September 21 2023 : I Am Alive Challenge

Hello Everyone 😊

Welcome to my actifit report for Thursday 21st September, 2023.

It's a beautiful day, that I am so grateful to be alive and smiling 😃

And when I thought it won't rain, it rained on this day.

After doing house chores and other online and offline stuff in the day.

Later in the evening, i went for mid week service in the church.

I have been passing this small garden which interested me a lot.

So, I captured it to share it with you.
In this small garden, we have bitterleaf, curry leaf, pumpkin leaf and pepper.

Well, truth is without proper care and adding fertilizer here none of the veggies will grow well.
Maybe spacing the veggies also will help in it's growth.
For now this garden isn't looking so good to me, there is stunted growth here.

Walking close to church on time 😊

That special feeling of coming on time.

Alright, welcome to church with me as I share with you the word.

The topic is “Born to win”
Theme : Power of obedience.

God's servant started telling us that we are created to rein in life.
That our distinction is proportional to how we access the word of God.

Obedience to the word of God determines ability to win.

Obedience is the practical adherence to God's instructions.
Obedience is dutiful or submissive compliance to God's instructions.

Genesis 12:1-17, James 1:12.
Obedience is the strongest force amongst all biblical virtue.

Adjusted obedience is disobedience.
Partial obedience is disobedience, half obedience is disobedience.( 1 Samuel 15:22)

John 14:15, John 14:21.
Philippines 2:8-9
Obedience is access to promotion.
Ephesians 5:22-23

Some reasons behind lack of obedience

1. Lack of trust in the character of God (Numbers 23:19)
2. Pride ( Psalm 14:1, Isaiah 14:13)
3. Tradition ( Mark 7:13)
4. No personal revelation of the word of God ( 2 Tim 2:15)

Significance of Obedience

A. Obedience is the heavenly rule (Ecclesiastes 12;13)

B. Obedience is the definition difference to Christianity

C. It is the pathway to progress in life ( Jeremiah 7:23)

Rewards of obedience

A. You become a friend of God ( John 15:14)

B. It brings promotion (Philippines 2:8-9)

C. You enjoy the blessings in Deuteronomy 23:1-13

D. It unlocks the miraculous power of God ( Luke 17)

E. It provokes quick response to our demands ( 1 John 3:22)

We ended the service with prayers and thanksgiving, receiving the holy Communion.

Coming back a bit late in the night it was 7:20pm when we dismissed.

Passed the best junction 😃, you buy roasted plantain, yam, chicken and fish here.

Got home to finish up with some online and offline task for the day.
