💬 Ukraine has scaled up the production of its R-360 Neptune missiles, achieving significant advancements in its missile program, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced. The country has manufactured its first 100 missiles in 2024, with plans to extend the range of the Neptune to 1,000 km, significantly enhancing its strike capabilities.

💥 Ukrainian forces struck the 13th GRAU arsenal in Novgorod Oblast, one of Russia's largest ammunition storage sites, approximately 680 km from the Ukrainian border, using drones. This depot houses strategic munitions, including rockets for Grad, Smerch, and Uragan MLRS, Iskander missiles, and S-300 and S-400 air defense systems.

🚀 The attack is part of Ukraine’s escalating drone operations targeting Russia’s military infrastructure, following U.S. approval to use long-range weapons. On 19 November, Ukraine used ATACMS missiles for the first time to destroy a strategic ammunition depot in Bryansk Oblast.

Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed intercepting 44 drones across nine regions but did not confirm the extent of the damage. In Belgorod Oblast, drones also targeted the EFKO plant, reportedly producing cargo UAVs for military purposes.

🔗 These strikes disrupt Russia's ammunition supply chain, reducing its operational capacity and forcing resource dispersal, a key strategic advantage for Ukraine as the war continues.

🪖 RUSI: Ukraine Must Concentrate ATACMS Strikes for Maximum Impact

📈 A Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) analysis emphasizes the importance of targeted ATACMS strikes to maximize Ukraine’s operational impact on Russian forces. With limited ATACMS inventory, Ukraine must prioritize critical military targets, avoiding scattered attacks that dilute effectiveness, according to Dr. Jack Watling’s report.

🚀 The authorization for Ukraine to use US-supplied ATACMS missiles marks a significant shift, enabling strikes deeper into Russian territory. These concentrated strikes can disrupt supply lines, damage high-value assets, and weaken Russia’s war machine. However, successful coordination with other systems, such as British Storm Shadow missiles and Ukrainian drones, is essential to breach Russian air defenses and achieve decisive results.

🌎 RUSI also underscores the need for sustained Western support, particularly urging Germany to supply Taurus missiles to bolster Ukraine’s capabilities. Combined with disciplined targeting, such support could maintain operational pressure on Russian forces and address the challenges of limited long-range munitions.

Putin has confirmed Russia will strike with nuclear weapons in response to an attack on Russia.
