Correct, you can't monetize on SoMee.. Neither can i. But you can monetize here on Hive and post to the Blockchain with no problems.

Thank you! Yeah, we have not been able to monetize posts on somee.social for many many months. I talked with Christopher about this weeks ago, then got with somee support, who suggested we wait for the new platform. I can now monetize on somee.social, but understand those posts are not going to somee.blog yet.
I was able to post on somee.blog - thank you - however I can't upload photos. I tried to post a photo on Ecency and clicked "somee official", but have no clue where that post went lol
