A BALANCED MOTIVATION FOR STUDENTS IS A GOOD REWARD.

I'm so happy to bring up my entry for this week 118 edition 2 engagement on this beautiful platform. I wanted to drop this since yesterday but I was overtaken but chains of cogent events. I had to take out time to get refreshed. Thank God is another Thursday morning here. I hope the week has been an amazing one out there. Congratulations to all who made out time to drop their participation on this engagement and greetings to all the entire management for their efforts in sustaining this vision. Here are my thoughts on the subject for this edition.

Everyone in life needs motivation directly or indirectly. There are different ways that one could be motivated or reinforced especially in the academic sphere. I am an activist of balance in every endeavour of man. Anyone without balance will definitely lack the requisite capacity to withstand and actualized certain goals. Students reward or motivation shouldn't just be centred on money alone instead there are other means in which an outstanding student can be rewarded. I was taught that there surplus means to encourage a student and these principles should not be constant instead should be changed once in a while in order to create a balanced mindset.

We are in a time and season where money seems to overtake virtually everything however concerted efforts must be put in place to combat a balance in the educational system for good growth and development. Money is very good but establishing money as a reward measure for me is not too good. Such money can be converted to something else such as school fees or scholarships or other educational aide. If you start giving out rewards as money, for how long would you be able to sustain it? Money as a reward may reduce the standard of education.

There are some sets of students I normally take them classes. There was this day they put forth an outstanding effort in the class which motivated me very well. I was confused on the kind of reinforcement i should give them. If I dash them cash hmmmm it won't be effective because I had no enough money that could circulate everyone. Wisdom came and I looked straight to one of them I noticed something packaged in a transparent bucket. After inquiring, they said is for sale Wow I was so happy. I quickly remanded that the available products should go round all the students. It was evenly distributed and everyone got as much as they wanted. That was how i was able to spur them to deeper learning. I could depict it from their faces and the excitement was too much.

There are times too where money could be packaged in a beautiful envelope and be give to such students as a gift. That shouldn't be always because it may cripple some things when the journey gets tough and there might not be the passion to consistently maintain this. It can expose students to stealing etc. Let there be an interchange between money and other things so that it will create a right impression in there hearts.
Balance is key in everything.
