Wonderful Weekend We Are Enjoying Here
As parents not every weekend we should book an appointment, some weeks we need to leave it blank and program to spend it with the children. During work day they go to school on a daily basis and really need to use the weekend to cool off. That's exactly what we did this weekend.
The children had good time to play with themselves
Egbre was able to attend to his homework, I wanted the Dad to help him out with the homework so I kept telling him to just keep it...in the morning I was able to convince him by saying that he should bring a book and pencil so we can write Number 1 to number 10 and spell it. He agreed to do that and immediately after writing he went over to sleep. I felt I had won, when he woke up he insisted on doing his homework when I said no he responded by saying, "my aunty will flog me". I just smiled over it and allowed him have his way.
Attending to homework early is very good as it helps us teach them also rather than rushing it.
It was a good time with the kids today.
