The rain washed away all the colors...

And from a colorful day in Barcelona, made a black and white world.

The images I wanted to show in some more vibrant tones, on a rainy day, became Ideal for my entry for #monomad challenge and the BlackAndWhite community.

And maybe these buildings can only be painted with a photograph without color, because at the time when the buildings were created, color photography did not exist yet?

I'm sharing with you, lovers of photos without color, a part of my today's Barcelona, wet, adventure.

The pictures show the famous houses designed by Antonio Gaudi, Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, along with some other facades and terraces of buildings between...

Casa Batllo

A lot of tourists today, like me, walked around Barcelona with umbrellas and raincoats, with wet shoes and wet legs, in any case enjoying the timeless city in which they found themselves in the rainy weather, which on this day took away all the colors.

It is a beautiful architectural structure on the building you took the photos.
You are right, the rain did more than just making all the place wet.
Thank you for sharing these photos
Peace

In addition to the beautiful architecture of the buildings in Barcelona, there is also an interesting urban solution, that the buildings at the intersections are built at an angle of 45°, so that the intersections are much more transparent...
And since it was my first time driving on the streets of Barcelona, I had unpleasant experiences with traffic lights. There are even at the exit of the roundabout, which is completely strange to me... I would like it if some of the Hiveans, residents of a city in Spain, would share with me their experiences with traffic in the city where they live...

Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

I believe the Hive-rans of #Spain can give the best answers 🙂

I'm interested in whether the rules in roundabouts apply everywhere in Spain as in Barcelona (traffic lights at the exit from the roundabout) and whether there are as many traffic lights in all cities as in Barcelona?

I was a pedestrian and a user of public transport (Bus, metro...) back in Madrid and Valencia, so I didn't pay attention.

Now in Barcelona I drove and it was a very "tense" experience. I think I felt more comfortable last year when I drove in Cyprus (first time in my life, on the left).
