Remotely working or from the office?

Thanks to the new trends and innovations brought by the young generation of colleagues, which the HR departments successfully implement, we have the possibility to agree on flexible working hours.

I usually work from 8 am to 4 pm, because I don't sleep long, and my colleagues, the sleepers, work from 9 am to 5 pm. And since we can "slip" with working hours, I like to take advantage of this opportunity on Fridays, to come to work before everyone else, already at 7 a.m. and to start the weekend at 3 p.m., before everyone who sleeps longer.

Coming to the office early has many advantages. The shared kitchen is empty, I don't wait my turn to boil water for tea or coffee, I can choose the best apple 😁

And when I get to my desk and turn on my laptop, I pour myself some tea and while I drink it slowly, without any distractions, in those two hours, until all my colleagues arrive, I can do most of my work.

So this Friday, at 7 a.m., I heated the water for tea and got to work, with full attention and the most rested.

How are you doing, do you have flexible working hours? Do you work from home? Do you like it?
Or do you prefer to work in the company of colleagues in a shared office?
When are you more productive, as a loner or in a crowd?

Feel free to share your experience here, I'm interested in how you feel about working from home.
I'm not a fan of that way of working...
