One abandoned cottage
Prompted by Karinxxl's post, The Abandoned Shed, I decided to share with this community, Urban Exploration, the story of an abandoned cottage in the company complex where I work.
Although nothing here is urban, since the cottage is located in the middle of the vineyard.
In 2006, during the purchase of a state-owned company (privatization in Serbia), in addition to the buildings, the company acquired hundreds of hectares of land in the surrounding area.
On one part of the land, there was a cottage, the purpose of which in the years before that privatization was used by farmers who lived in it during the summer season.
The view of the river that flows in the immediate vicinity is beautiful. I can easily imagine how much workers enjoyed a break from hard work on hot summer days.
After it was purchased in a package with a complete complex, it was no longer in use. It was occasionally used only by fishermen, who took shelter in it during heavy rains and storms.
After years of non-use, it grew into a creeper, which covered more than two-thirds of the cottage.
Next to the cottage, a fig tree grew and obscured it so that it was almost invisible.
The only thing left visible is the roof, when approached from the upper side, which, like the entire cottage, is quite damaged.
As a part of the complex around is currently planted with a vineyard, the owners' plan is to reconstruct the cottage. I don't know if they will tear it down and build a new building in its place, or renovate the existing one...
Whatever they do, the pictures of the old, abandoned cottage, which is currently being used as a storage room for the tools of the craftsmen who arranged the vineyard, remain here.
