Diet - My Number 1 goal for 2024

No, this is not that goal, this is what I have to fight against.

I know it seems like a hackneyed new year's resolution, but it's something i have to actually do.

The goal for 2024 is to reduce this number to below 86 kg in order to meet my 2024 goal of getting my health back to normal.

On New Year's Eve, we all promise ourselves some goals for the next year, but if the health is not what it should be, then the achievement of all other goals does not bring any satisfaction.

And just that New Year's Eve, when I half-jokingly said that my goal for 2024 was to lose 5 kg, as well as the Christmas holidays, the food and drinks I ate and drank then, affected my health a little.

At the moment I have a medical problem, joint inflammation, for which I went to the doctor yesterday and had laboratory blood tests done this morning...
My blood count is good, iron, sugar, liver enzymes too, but cholesterol and triglycerides are not 🙂

And it's not surprising considering the amount of salty, fatty food I ate in the days around the holidays.

Well, now, since the doctor also told me that I have to pay attention to my weight, by following a diet, that joke from New Year's Eve is now my responsibility.
So, the goal for 2024 is clear.

First, lower the body weight below 90 kg, and as a second step, by exercising, improve the general condition of the body and bring the body weight to 85 kg.

What do you think, is it realistic and feasible?
That is, even if it is not feasible, I have to carry it out, so that I can be there for the next new year and be able to write with you about the goals for 2025.

I will definitely share my progress here, i.e. how many kilos I lose 🙂
I found a solution, all I need to do is "punch the spoon" (reduce the amount of food I eat).
