All in one - Wednesday walk, Murals and Cocktails

On hot summer days, when it seems impossible to walk through the central city streets of Belgrade, I do just that.

I leave the warm apartment and walk around the central city streets.

The center of Belgrade is made up mostly of older buildings. There are some houses from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, and hardly any are newer than 50 years.

And it is precisely the shadows of such buildings, as well as the trees on the streets that provide shade, that make it possible to walk on the streets. There are no glass facades, no large open space.
Everything is tucked away and hidden in the shade...

And from that shadow, on some facades of the building, you come across a mural.

To the work of street artists (if you're just street artists), with a performance by some of our acting legends, famous singers, and members of fan groups.

I don't know if I've seen such realistic murals anywhere.

I have seen these actors, Zoran Radmilović (who has not been with us for a long time), and Tanja Bošković in many plays and movies, and I must admit that from these murals, I expected them to call me or sing... They are so realistic.
And beautiful.

And when I was passing by the wall with Eddie Grant's mural, I thought I heard the beats of the song: "I Don't Wanna Dance".
That's right, I don't want to dance, I just feel like walking.

And when the day comes to an end and darkness descends on the streets in the garden of the Belgrade coctail bar "Blaznavac", you can, like us, refresh yourself with a cocktail...

It's not just a place to drink cocktails. It is the house of an old Belgrade family, interesting history that you can read in the coctail menu while you wait for the waiter to bring you the ordered cocktails.

Maybe it's not a place that recommends alcoholic cocktails, but after walking on Wednesday, we looked for refreshments at: Long Island Iced Tea, Caribbean Cruise, Challenge, Tropical Depression...

Cheers and enjoy your #Wednesdaywalk
