A Fresh Start Awaits : Loving my city and Saloon

In the heart of my city Asaba Delta town nestled between vibrant plazers and quiet streets, stood our small hair salon owned by me and my Sisters . It was a place where our dreams were styled into reality, and yesterday been the first day of the warm July our , salon buzzed with the hum of clippers, weaving and the chatter of clients. I dressed in my favorite red and black patterned dress, stood proudly in the center of the room, the intricate diamond design of my outfit mirrored the care i put into every hairstyle I was crafting.

Last night was special as we had just finished training a new apprentice Sonia , who had diligently working on a mannequin head in the corner and now graduated to fixing childrens hair as the room was lighted up and, the mirrors reflected our hard work, with the overhead lights cast a warm glow, highlighting the transformation happening within the salon's walls. As the clock struck 01:04 AM WAT on July 2, , i took a moment to admire our space as the ceiling fan whirred softly, circulating the late-night air, while the faint sound of a Music box player was jamming a familiar tune.

Our journey hadn’t been easy, as we had started with nothing but a pair of scissors and a dream working under some before we became free and now, we are turning our passion into a thriving business. As I stood there, i felt a surge of pride as the salon wasn’t just a workplace it was our sanctuary, a testament to our resilience. With a smile, I turned to Sonia, ready to guild her through the next style , knowing that together, we would continue to weave, as the stories of beauty and strength, one hairstyle at a time till if fades and all our customers where satisfied and gone.
