Nature and AI: A Future That Scares Me

When you truly understand yourself, you begin to see most of your problems, your fears, and your weaknesses more clearly.
You start to know what makes you happy and what makes you sad. Today, I want to share one of my fears.
And that fear is AI.
If you ask a young person what they think about the future with AI, they’ll probably say, “It’s amazing. It’s helpful. It reduces stress.”

But when I think deeply about it, I see something different.
I imagine a world filled with high-rise buildings, electric vehicles, flying cars, and realistic human holograms
but fewer trees and less natural beauty. And honestly, it scares me.
At first, I didn’t think much about it. I believed it was something far in the future

maybe 70 or 80 years from now. But I was wrong. It’s already here, close as the air we breathe.
Just scroll through social media you can’t watch 15 videos without seeing something created by AI.
It’s not that I’m against technology or progress. This as a young guy with dreams and ambitions, there are places I want to visit—Italy, France, the Maldives. One of the reasons I love these places is their natural beauty, the greenery, the peaceful scenery.
And I don’t want advancement to take that away from me.

You are not alone, I'm also scared; apart from AI creating various things, it has also made human lazy. An average human doesn't work with his/her brain any longer. Ask a student to solve simple arithmetic that hitherto should be solved mentally and the student consults AI. It's scary.

I think everyone is afraid, and I think it's going to get worse. But I'm not sure if halting development is the right move. Maybe regulation? The future is uncertain, and nobody knows how far this could go. Maybe one day we'll be able to explore these AI virtual worlds. Real time generation of virtual places like Zuckerberg's metaverse, but cooler.
