Shortly after Russia

Shortly after Russia thanked Egypt for not giving in to the Western pressure and refusing to provide Ukraine with weapons. The U.S senates announced the annual military aid to Egypt will be cut.

Egypt receives 1.2 billion USD annualy in military aids as part of the Camp David peace agreement making Egypt the second largest recipient of US military aid after Israel. Most of the aid consists of spare parts and maintenance works on the American weapons in Egypt's arsenal.

The announced annual military budget of Egypt is 4 billion USD and Egypt operates one of the most diverse militaries in the world in terms of weapons sources.

While most of the arsenal is locally produced, Egypt also imports weapons from Russia, China, UK, France, Germany, India, Pakistan, both Koreas and others.
